We did say last week that Honda Philippines (HPI) was getting busy with its launches, right? The motorcycle manufacturer already released two new—and arguably quite big—models so far this year. It appears, however, that something bigger could be on the horizon for the brand.

In the Department of Energy’s list of recognized electric vehicles, we noticed that a Honda EVF9018 was listed under the L category. We clicked, and lo and behold, a photo of the WN7 popped up. In case you aren’t familiar, the WN7 is Honda’s new fully electric motorcycle that debuted late last year.

No other name apart from EVF9018, which is frankly a mouthful, was indicated on the website, but it does list it as a BEV. The link to the full spec-sheet also leads to Honda’s UK website, so we still can’t say whether or not HPI really plans to bring this in.

No specific variant was also listed, but the details do point to a 50kW trim, which is currently the highest variant in markets where the WN7 is being sold. This supposedly has 100Nm of torque and can reach up to 129kph. It has a 9.32kWh lithium-ion battery and promises up to 140km of range on a single charge.

The bike also gets dual-channel ABS with front and rear disc brakes and sits on 17-inch wheels. It measures 2,155mm long, 825mm wide, and 1,085mm tall with a 1,480mm wheelbase. Ground clearance is at 139mm, while curb weight is listed at 217kg.

Again, we’ve no word yet on whether or not this will actually make it to the Philippines, but best believe the idea of it arriving here excites us. If it does land in our market, it’ll be interesting to see how much Honda will actually price this. Your thoughts, readers?
