Trek has launched its latest city-focused Charter+ lineup in the global market. Trek’s new Charter+ lineup includes two models, including the Charter+ 4S and the Charter+ 5S. Both e-bikes share very similar specs, albeit with a few tweaks. Speaking of difference, the Charter+ 5S is a premium model, which comes with a large 800 Wh battery rated for up to 68 miles (110 km) of range on a single charge.

While the Charter+ 4S ships with a slightly smaller 540 Wh Bosch PowerTube battery, which is said to offer up to 45 miles (72 km) of range. Trek’s new lineup is powered by the Bosch Performance Line Sport motor, offering 85 Nm of torque and a top speed of 28 mph (45 km/h). The company claims that the e-bike is designed to offer a smooth ride even on bumpy and rough terrains.

Furthermore, both models are equipped with a Shimano Nexus Di2 drivetrain paired with a Gates belt drive and Bosch AutoShift. There’s Bosch e-bike Flow companion app support, which further unlocks several features such as customizable motor tuning, phone-based locking, location tracking, and navigation. On top of this, you can also add Bosch’s Connect module for enhanced GPS security.

As for price, the Charter+ 5S is priced at $4,499, while the Charter+ 4S retails at $3,999. Both models will be available for purchase via Trek’s official website.
