WOODCREST – Woman Killed In Vehicle Vs. E-Bike Traffic Collision. On January 24, 2026, at approximately 9:37 a.m., Cal Fire Riverside County and the California Highway Patrol responded to a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a bicycle. Upon arrival, first responders located a woman lying in the roadway with injuries sustained in the crash. According to a preliminary investigation, a 61-year-old woman was riding an electric bicycle westbound on Reiner Circle when she turned southbound onto Krameria Avenue and entered the path and was struck by a 2025 Audi A8 that was driven by a 26-year-old woman. The bicyclist sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where she later died. The bicyclist was identified as Gina Thomas, 61, of Riverside. Authorities said alcohol or drugs do not appear to have been a factor in the collision.
