Emergency crews contained a vehicle fire in Bethel Township Wednesday evening, according to emergency reports.
Initial calls about 5 p.m. reported an electric SUV engulfed by flames in the 400 block of Beagle Road.
The callers told emergency personnel that a container in the SUV caught fire and the flames spread to the entire vehicle.
Crews in the area reported heavy smoke.
Multiple apparatuses, including a tanker from Lebanon County, were called to the scene.
Beagle Road was closed between Little Mountain Road and Meckville Road.
The fire was contained about 5:07 p.m.
