GWM Tank 300 Hi4-T PHEVPricing and Availability

The Tank 300 Hi4-T PHEV is available in two grades. The Lux grade costs $55,990 driveaway. The Ultra grade costs $59,990 driveaway. These are limited-time launch prices.

The Ultra grade arrives first in early March 2026. The Lux grade follows in early April 2026. Both models will be available at GWM dealerships across Australia.

Hi4-T Plug-in Hybrid System

The Tank 300 Hi4-T uses GWM’s Hybrid Intelligent 4WD Technology. The system pairs a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with a 120kW electric motor. Combined output is 300kW of power and 750Nm of torque.

The PHEV system delivers strong low-speed torque for off-road driving. Electric-only range is 105km on the NEDC cycle. Fuel economy is rated at 1.9L/100km combined. The system reduces both fuel consumption and emissions.

Fast charging is available via CCS2 connector. The 50kW DC charger can charge from 30 to 80 percent in 24 minutes. Vehicle-to-Load functionality provides 6kW of power output for external devices.

The Tank 300 Hi4-T maintains genuine mechanical 4WD hardware. The system includes a low-range transfer case and front and rear locking differentials. This gives the vehicle serious off-road capability.

Multiple terrain-specific drive modes are available. The system provides precise torque control for different conditions. Towing capacity is rated at 3,000kg braked.

The Tank 300 has built a strong following among off-road enthusiasts. The original model offered petrol power. GWM added a 2.4-litre turbo diesel option in 2025. The Hi4-T PHEV now adds electrified performance without compromising 4×4 capability.
