What if your EV could charge up while getting some sun?
A small team of Nissan engineers attached over three square meters of solar panels on the roof, hood and rear window of an Ariya to see how much free energy they could capture. Under clear skies, the solar panels generated up to 23 km of range, showing that the sun not only brightens your day, it can power it as well.
