1977 Ford Escort fast road spec

I recently picked this 1977 Swedish sold Ford Escort MK 2 after seeing her for sale on a local small adds website here in Sweden, I’m a Brit working in Scandinavia so the steering wheel is on the wrong side for me although it’s perfectly legal to import and Drive in the UK.

The car isn’t a Mexico so a few of the pics will show the Decals have been removed after I had the bodywork and paint corrected at a vehicle specialist in Norway where I was stationed for a year, the dints and small bit of wheel arch rust you can see in the first pic are now fixed. she’s pushing out 164BHP @ 6000rpm after being fully rebuilt 1000 Kilometres ago with Cosworth rods and Ross engineering oversized pistons on fully forged internals, she’s breathing through A pair of Weber IDF 44 carbs a ported big valve head and an Ashley 4-2-1 branch manifold..suspension is bilstien coil overs at the front and uprated leaf springs at the rear with Bilstien shocks.

Anyway I thought I’d share with this classic car group, she absolutely flies as she weighs around 950 kg.
