Stage 12 marked the final full stage of the Dakar Rally — and one of the most defining moments of the race for Ford Racing.
When Nani Roma ran into trouble, the Ford Raptor T1+ teams stepped in. In the desert, the priority became clear: get the Raptor back home to the bivouac and keep the fight alive.
On stage, Mitch Guthrie Jr. charged to a strong second-place finish, while Mattias Ekström brought it home in fourth. With one day to go, the overall standings remain tight: Roma sits P2 overall, Ekström P3, and Carlos Sainz holds P5.
This is Dakar at its core — resilience, teamwork, and everything on the line.
