The New Xiaomi SU7 Electric Automobile with Key Modifications
As of now, pre-orders for the redesigned version of its electric vehicle, the SU7, have been opened by Xiaomi. The modification has made performance improvements, some minor changes in design, and an enriched list of features as standard across the board.
Design, Safety, and Technology Enhancements
Key changes on the exterior of the update are numerous characteristic fringe changes. They are:
New Aesthetics: All are characteristic of new shades: ‘Capri Blue’ color, redesigned 20-inch wheels, and a new grille.
Most High-Tech Features an Optional: Lidar and the ADAS system, which were available only on the more expensive models, are now standard on all versions.
Overturned State of Affairs: The ADAS system has seen an increase in processing capability to 700 TOPS.
More Protection: The car is fitted with nine airbags (up from seven) in addition to the power backup system for the door locks.
Improved Power and Charge
There is an increase in output for both the Pro and Max versions, significantly enhancing the overall performance of the vehicle.
SU7 Pro: Engine output was increased from 299 hp to 320 hp.
SU7 Max: The engine output was increased from 673 hp to 690 hp.
Max Version Improvement: With respect to the SU7 Max, a battery recharge speed was increased, along with a range increase of beyond 20 to 70 km on a single charge.
New Pricing and Release Schedule
The price of the base model of the Xiaomi SU7 rises to $32,980, which reflects these improvements. The company plans to start selling these revamped electric vehicles in April 2026.
