STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. – Stevens County deputies apprehended someone suspected of intentionally setting a Tesla on fire on Saturday morning.
Stevens County Fire District 1 posted about the incident and said fire crews put out the fire while being careful to keep it from spreading. It added that crews were careful to keep themselves safe because “Teslas are very hazardous when burning.”
The district said Stevens County deputies responded quickly and apprehended the suspect.
