Rebuilt the 1406 carburetor today and installed the jets and needles that basically turn it into a 1405. It runs SO much better. I also drove it to the gas station and filled it up which is pretty much the first trip it's had in almost 2 decades. It didn't run very well so when I got back home I pulled the plugs and did a compression test. All the cylinders are 90 on the 1st stroke and build to 150 except two which are around 40 on the 1st and 140 on the 5th. Cylinder 1 the gap was basically zero and I kinda remember years ago when I got the car out from under a tree and decided to get it running again when I changed the plugs I dropped one or two of them. I wonder if the gaps been closed for all those years?

The yellow on the plugs surely is all the additives I've been running though it. Berryman, Stabil 360 and probably more I'm forgetting.

With the new jets it really runs good.
