This Straman retractable top concept came out not long after the 300ZX of the early ‘90s was introduced. Using the 2+2 body and retractable top made the car far more attractive than any other Z convertible and better than that unholy-expensive front-wheel- drive based Mitsubishi 3000 experiment.
