Since Mercedes did not mass-produce an S-Class wagon, the German coachbuilder Binz, often in collaboration with Cadform, created these one-off prototypes or very limited production vehicles.
Just found this story of the blue S500T from FB:
1994 Mercedes W140 S500 T
An Austrian businessman wanted to convert his S-Klasse into a wagon. He commissioned CADFORM (former Mercedes-Benz partner for the conception of prototypes and interior components), who developed the concept which was eventually built by Binz (Daimler's in-house supplier for special bodies since 1939). Mercedes was so happy with the result, they approved a limited series of 100 wagons. 20 000 brouchures were printed and sent orldwide but for some reason production never took place.
