Alpine 70 years | Alpine, a team of excellence | Ep. 6 | Renault Group

The brand values are passion, performance and innovation. We are one team. Automobile course. the main commonality is probably in the competitive spirit. I would say in the Formula 1 team, we’re here to perform and to compete. And when you take Formula 1 being at the pinnacle of motorsport, this is a very strong statement for Alpine as a brand, just to be present at the very top of motorsport and keep showcasing the technology, the uh spirit, the mindset, and the brand. >> It’s through everybody that works here. It’s in our DNA. And the racing doesn’t stop at the circuit on a Sunday afternoon. It continues every day of the week throughout the factory as well. Every single person here has that spirit where they want to race everybody that does the same as them in the other teams. So in the team um we are one team. Uh we have between 850 and a,000 people working purely on the endstone chassis side. This is for creating and manufacturing and building designing two cars that you’ll see on the television at the races every Sunday for 24 races per year and that is something that we do as a team and we take on the challenge as one team. We have 45 different nationalities across over 25 departments. It’s a a massive exercise, but it’s a group exercise. We all know what our goal is and we all try and achieve that. A good p stop is barely 2 seconds, goes very fast. But what’s interesting is to see and to understand the amount of work behind achieving a good pit stop. It’s a very highly choreographed exercise between the driver mechanics, the hardware, the software, and it’s putting all of these aspects together in a highly controlled exercise such that you can achieve such a fast pit stop. One team sport not the characteristic. I think we all keep talking about innovation having this obsession about what’s the next idea how we going to innovate how we can get an extra how how can we build an edge on the competition such that Ara cara can perform and start to get closer and closer to the front of the field and stay there. It’s very much about not giving up whenever things get difficult and that is also helping to just build more and more this team culture such that whether you are performing or not performing well enough you keep that focus in the team to keep moving forward and progressing. top. All right.

Dieppe, Guyancourt, Viry-Châtillon, Enstone, Aubevoye… the various entities that make up Alpine may be located in different places, but they are all driven by the same spirit. It is this culture, deeply inspired by competition, that is the focus of the sixth episode of our series dedicated to Alpine’s 70th anniversary.
