Why is twin I-beam/twin traction beam so controversial in truck circles?

It’s like people either absolutely love it, or they hate it.

It is one of my all time favorite systems. The only problem with it I am aware of is that it is significantly more difficult to modify (like a lift) than a solid axle, but I have no intentions on doing that to begin with.
