Performer and stuntman Steve-O took his trademark brand of chaos to new heights—literally—when he suspended a Tesla Model Y 120 feet in the air outside the UFC headquarters in Las Vegas. The outrageous stunt was part of a promotional tour for his live show at the Virgin Casino Theater, but it quickly became one of his most extreme spectacles yet.

Known for his history of jaw-dropping antics from his Jackass days, Steve-O decided to spend the night inside the electric SUV as it dangled from a crane above the city. The setup provided a stunning view of Las Vegas but came with plenty of complications before it even got off the ground.

Technical issues arose early on when a minor malfunction was reported with the lifting equipment—hardly reassuring given the stunt’s height. Police also arrived at the scene, though not to shut it down. Instead, they were reportedly there for safety support, a rare moment of cooperation that even surprised the daredevil himself.

Once the Tesla was airborne, things didn’t exactly go smoothly. At its peak height, the car jolted unexpectedly, giving Steve-O a scare before he climbed onto the roof to capture photos from the precarious perch. The vehicle’s glass roof later cracked, adding another layer of tension to the high-wire act.

As night fell, sleeping inside the suspended car proved difficult. Temperatures inside the vehicle rose quickly, and the constant awareness of being suspended over 100 feet in the air didn’t help with relaxation. Still, in true Steve-O fashion, he completed the challenge and lived to tell the tale—turning a Tesla into a temporary sky apartment for the sake of entertainment and promotion.

The stunt reinforced Steve-O’s reputation for pushing boundaries and blending spectacle with showmanship, proving once again that his brand of fearless comedy still reaches new heights—this time, quite literally.
