Our Electric Car has more range than we need and Public Charging is constantly expanding!
Our EV has more than enough range for our needs. We charged up last night and have 260 mi of range. And we have a lot to do today, so let’s go. The average person drives less than 40 m a day, so our EV has more than enough range for our daily or even weekly needs. First stop, visiting with my dad. We’re stopping at the harbor to visit some friends. Just running in to make a quick return. And there’s even charging in the parking lot. It’s time for lunch. The car still has a ton of range, but if we needed to, we could charge right here in the parking lot while we eat. Charging is expanding more and more. We’ve already passed 14 different charging stations today. We’re back home after driving 39 miles, and we still have 221 miles of range left. That is tons of range for more driving. But just like we do with our phone, we’re going to plug in at home and be fully charged by
Most people drive less than 40 miles a day. Most EV’s have well over 200 miles of range, so that’s more than enough to cover our daily and even weekly driving needs. Public charging infrastructure is constantly improving with more and more stations coming online covering both urban centers and road trips across the country.
