2026 Geely EX5: The bottle holder review

This is the J EX5 and this is the Cars Guide bottle holder review. First up, front seats. Well, we’ve got that center console, two bottle holders in there, but they’re not quite large enough for our 500 mil test bottle. They are in the doors, big pockets in there as well. Under the center console thanks to that electric platform. You can fit a sealed bottle maybe in there, but not quite in the armrest console box. What a shame. Then you’ve got the glove box. You could probably fit a sealed bottle in there quite easily as you can see. And in the rear seats, it’s a good story as well. Plenty of leg room in there for me with big pockets in each of the doors. And then there’s a drop down armrest as well. It’s got two bottle holders, but they are a little bit too loose for our 500 mil bottle. In the back of the center console, there’s a little drawer in there. That’s kind of clever. And there’s even one underneath the seat bench. Never seen that before. That’s quite clever. There’s even nice elastic pockets on the backs of the front seats. Perfect for our 500 mil bottle. Boot space, as you can see, is pretty good. And the GX5 was our long-term tester. So check out all our chapters at carsguide.com.au.
