It’s the season of end-of-year wrap-ups, and while our primary job here at Cycling Electric is electric bike reviews, the experience would not be complete without a recap of the best e-bike accessories we have encountered this year.

In case you missed it, we have already rounded up our picks of the best electric bikes we have reviewed and recommend for your consideration going into 2026.

The best e-bike accessories of 2025

OnGuard RockSolid 8950

best electric bike lock onguard rocksolid e-bike accessories

£149.99 | View offer

Going the distance in our group test of the best bike locks that are worthy of your electric bike’s protection, OnGuard’s RockSolid stood out as our best value pick.

We are actually living in regret, because after angle grinding away at all of our locks, we mindlessly threw away the keys, but with the OnGuard Rocksolid we needn’t have, because the angle grinder just skimmed around on the dimpled surface of the steel, making no progress on the metal at all in 5 minutes of grinding.

That’s seriously impressive and while this shackle isn’t the largest of those in our group test, which does limit where you can use it a little, it is priced extremely well for how much fight it puts up. That smaller size, does make it more portable and of a lower weight than many in this category. It’s currently found with 25% off online.

Remco Bike Lift

Probably the most welcome email contact of our year was the out-of-the-blue request to test Remco’s digital bike lift. This piece of equipment is the e-bike mechanic’s dream, effortlessly lifting your ride off the ground and high into the air, even giving you the option to preset a trio of preferred heights into the controls up to 15cm off the ground.

Better still, there’s an element of making this bike stand your own. While there are standard stand options, you can repurpose an old clamp if you have one, or choose from a handful of clamp options on the Remco site. We opted for a Feedback Sports clamp head, which gave enough bandwidth to host larger tubing often found on e-bikes.

Beyond the clamp head, the tool tray accessory is epic, offering a magnetic face to keep hold of small bolts, which in itself is a lifesaver. Then there are drop holes for Allen keys and other tools. I also added a USB charger, which plugs into the controller and is great for topping up extra lights and wireless shifting batteries, for example.

Unit1 Neon

e-bike accessories unit1

From £119 (£149 with MIPS) | View offer

One helmet with a handful of premium features overlaid against its safety features; that’s what we’d been looking for until the Unit1 Neon arrived.

Rated as highly as can be by the independent Virginia Tech test lab, which is widely considered the gold-standard endorsement for safety, the Neon goes beyond protection, building into its shell remote signalling, as part of its embedded lighting (albeit you do need to buy a £34 handlebar remote to manage the signalling).

We also loved the magnetic clip on visor and the optional magnetic visor add ons that come in clear or tinted shades. There are too both standard and MIPS options. MIPS, if you’re not familiar, is a rotating liner that acts as a separation point between your head and the helmet, pivoting in a crash and taking the edge off any impact on your neck, but also preventing your brain from rattling about in your skull on account of the reduced friction on contact.

RockBros Road to Sky bar end tools

e-bike accessories tools

£52.99 | View offer

The best tool for emergency bike repair is the one you have on you and believe us when we say it’s very easy to forget to pack a tiny multitool if you’re in a rush to get out. That’s why in recent years a handful of bike brands and accessory firms have pulled some clever tricks to make sure you’re never without the means to make a roadside repair. One of those is RockBros, whose solution is to deliver a multitool pairing that tucks into either side of your handlebar.

While this solution is streamlined and designed to be hidden away, once you pull it out and choose your Allen key or Torx you can unscrew the body and thread the pieces together at a 90-degree angle to give you the leverage to properly tighten parts.

Tucked or built into the bar ends are tools inclusive of a 3mm, 4mm and 5mm Allen key, a T25 Torx, wrench and, most impressive of all, a chain tool.

TruFlo Classictrax floor pump

£79.99 | View offer

Inflating your tyres to the correct pressure can be among the best pieces of bike maintenance you can do to see quick efficiency gains and, with that, get the most from your electric bike’s battery capacity.

Floor pumps are notoriously prone to problems given the high-pressure task at hand, and so over the years we’ve come to look for a certain quality benchmark, all the while not breaking the bank, which it’s fair to say many quality floor pumps do. TruFlo is one such brand that strikes a balance, delivering on its Classictrax floor pump an aluminium construction that extends from the 67cm tall barrel right down into the firm die-cast base, into which the 2.5-inch gauge is fixed. That dial will extend all the way up to 240 PSI delivered via a twin-valve pump head that has a built-in air bleed button to fine-tune your air delivery. Naturally, both Presta and Schrader valve compatibility is supported, all via a clever and simple to use reversible valve head.

Redshift Arclight pedals

Being seen in the urban landscape is important day or night and sometimes static lighting can get lost in the mix of other distractions. Recognising this fact, Redshift Sports got creative and embedded four magnetised clip in, USB chargeable lights into both ends of their new Arclight pedals.

Available as both a flat pedal or an SPD clip in, the Arclight pedals glimmer as they rotate under your feet, illuminating the space underneath white and behind you red. This creates a very hard-to-miss arc of light that’s always there and provides more than enough lumen output to be seen by others from a good distance away. Best of all, they turn on and off automatically, with a motion sensor picking up on your pedal strokes.

Supplied with a super-convenient charge port that all four lights can plug into simultaneously, charging is a breeze and it doesn’t take particularly long either.

EcoFlow Delta 3 Plus

If your spring exploration is likely to begin with a domestic adventure on the road it doesn’t hurt to have a power source on hand to top up your e-bike, devices and accessories on the fly. Portable power stations have gradually become more accessible over time, and with that, some of the larger capacity units that pack in enough cells to feasibly work as a backup to your battery have begun to retail in the hundreds rather than the thousands of pounds.

One such unit is EcoFlow’s new Delta 3 Plus, a power bank that can be fast charged in under an hour to 100% meaning you can refresh the supply quickly as soon as you’re near a power source. Alternatively, there are companion solar panels that are available separately that do take a bit longer to load the cells, but mean you can go off-grid and stay there for longer.

With an 1,800W output potential, the Delta 3 Plus will power 99% of household appliances, such is its power output and its 1,024Wh capacity can be expanded up to 5kWh via a linkage option. Of the power supply options, there is an array of USB-C and USB-A outputs, four three-pin plugs, plus a car power output.

Giant Aegis radar technology

giant explore e+ 0 radar

You cannot buy this product as such, not unless you first buy a Giant e-bike with the Aegis technology equipped, but we thought it worth an honorary mention all the same, because the execution impressed us so greatly.

This radar system attaches to Giant’s pannier racks, taking a proximity measurement of advancing traffic, plus gauging vehicle speed and then communicates this wirelessly to the e-bike display, flagging the approaching vehicle as coloured dots on the right-hand side of the display. This intuitive approach makes it crystal clear when a car is approaching quickly, giving you valuable seconds to consider your road positioning, plus if the system deems something dangerous, it will add an audio cue.

Thule Yepp 2 Maxi child seat

e-bike accessories thule

£119.99 | View offer

Thule, a Swedish brand, is ever popular in the world of roof bars and bike racks and nowadays they also have a very popular kids range of trailers, plus child seats. Featured as our standout child’s seat in this buyer’s guide, the Yepp 2 Maxi is designed as a pannier-mounted rear bike seat which is easy to use. Again, this model uses MIK-compatible connection, so it just clicks straight into the rear MIK pannier rack, though other connections are available.

The first thing we noticed was the soft but hard-wearing padding on the seat. It has a little bit of squish to the foam, but still has a shock-absorbing quality about it. The five-point harness claims to be child-proof, but we found it quite easy to unclip as an adult.

The foam that makes up the foundation of this seat is comfortable and weather-resistant, so it would just require a quick wipe down before use after rain and you’re good to go. It also comes with the seat post strap to keep the seat attached to the bike in case of any other unlikely failure.
