1964 ford fairlane colors?

I got my father in law for the secret Santa this year, so I got him a 1/25th scale model of his first car: a 1964 ford fairlane. I want to paint it exactly as he had it…but I only have a description. That description is blue with a black stripe on the side. Which color is that most likely, and was the upper body the same color as the lower body? He was never rich so whatever the cheaper option was is most likely what he had
