Two federal ministers are in the spotlight after spending up big.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxpayer funds have been spent family holidays, sporting events and luxury travel.
Communications Minister Anika Wells is under fire for spending approximately $9,000 so she and her family could attend three separate AFL grand finals dating back to 2022.
Wells’ expenses include $4,000 for cricket events, $3,000 for a ski trip, and $169,000 on trips to New York City, Paris, France and Switzerland.
Trade Minister Don Farrell has also been caught up in the spending scandal, racking up about $9,000 in expenses to attend various sporting and cultural events for which he received free tickets.
