We kick things off with Marauti Suzuki who have showcased the India spec Marauti Evvitara. We will have to wait a little bit longer to know the prices but they have revealed the specifications. The Evitara comes in 49 and 61 kWh variants both with a front-wheel drive setup with the latter promising an Arai range of 543 km. It will be available in three trims. The base Delta trim will have a 49 kW battery pack and the Zeta and Alpha trims will get the larger unit. Marauti Suzuki has set up over 2,000 charging points in over,00 cities in India. They have also collaborated with 13 charging point operators for access to a wider charging infrastructure and aims to establish a network of over one lakh charging points by 2030. Maruti claims to have a charger available for every 510 kilometers accessible via the E forme app. They have over 1,500 EV ready workshops for service support and will also offer doorstep service as well. Bookings for the Evitara will open soon and its launch is slated for early 2026. Marauti will also offer the ES SUV via a subscription and battery as a service scheme. Maruti has also announced that the Evitara has received a five-star Bharat Ncap safety rating for both adult occupant protection and child occupant protection. The Evitara scored 31.49 out of 32 points in the adult occupant protection. In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, it offered good protection for the driver’s head, neck, pelvis, thighs, and feet. The driver’s chest and tibas received adequate protection in the side movable, deformable, and side pole impact tests. All critical parts of the occupants received good protection. In the child occupant protection test, both the 18-month-old and the three-year-old dummies scored full points in the frontal and side crash tests. It also got full marks in the dynamic score and the CRS installation score, but it lost six points in the vehicle assessment, resulting in a total score of 43 out of 49 points. In terms of safety features, the EVAR’s top alpha trim gets seven airbags, a 360deree camera, front and rear parking sensors, a tire pressure monitoring system, and ISOIX mounts. It also is the second Marauti after the Vtorus to feature level two ADAS. Tata Motors has revealed prices for the pure, smart, and adventure trims of the Sierra. However, this is not the full price list. Top-N variant prices are yet to be revealed, but here is a look at the price list we have so far. Prices for the naturally aspirated 1.5 L Revotron engine version start at rupees 11.49 lakh for the smart plus and stretch to rupees 15.99 lakh for the manual and 16.79 lakh for the DCA. So far, only the Adventure Plus trim can be had with the 1.5 L turbo petrol and automatic costing rupees 17.99 lakh. Prices for the 1.5 Cryog diesel engine version start at rupees 12.99 lakh and stretch to 18.49 lakh with the automatic. There are two further trims whose prices will be announced later. The Smart Plus trim gets LED lights front and rear, push button start with keyless entry and rear window sun shades as standard. Pure and Pure Plus add 17in alloys, a panoramic sunroof, and a 10.25 in infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. And finally, the Adventure and Adventure Plus trims get 18in alloy wheels, a 12.3 in infotainment screen with a 360° camera, and a 10.25 in driver’s display. Lexus India has added a new entry-level exquisite trim to the RX lineup at rupees 89.99 lakh. The exquisite is rupees 8.05 lakh more affordable than the luxury trim. Moreover, the price of the topsp spec RX 500h FS Sport Plus has been reduced by 9 lakh. Here is a look at the price list. In terms of features, the RX exquisite variant is almost identical to the outgoing luxury trim. Highlights include a 14-in infotainment touchscreen, a 360° camera, a Lexus branded sound system with a Mark Levenson system being optional, 10-way powered front seats with memory, electrically reclinable rear seats, heating and ventilation for the front and rear seats, level two ADAS, and more. Available in the 350H, guys, only the RX Exquisite gets a 2.5 L 4-cylinder petrol hybrid powertrain that’s mated to a ECVT automatic. Combined output is 246 horsepower channeled to the front wheels for a 0 to 100 time of 7.9 seconds. Thanks to the strong hybrid system, the RX 350H also delivers a WLTP certified fuel efficiency figure of 18.6 KPL. Moving on to two wheelers. 2 years after the X440 was revealed, the second bike based on this platform has been revealed and it’s called the Harley-Davidson X440T. Images show a new tail section with different panels and less empty space in between the rear wheels and the fender. It also gets bar and mirrors and four new colors. Images do not show the front, but it should look very similar to the X440. The large throttle cable seen on the X40 is missing here, hinting that the X40T has moved to ride by wire throttle. That means the bike could have additional features like riding modes, switchable traction control, and even switchable ABS. Further details haven’t been revealed, but we can see it has the same frame, engine, and suspension setup, wheel sizes, and dual disc brakes as the X440. Currently, the X440 is priced between rupees 2.4 lakh and rupes 2.8 lakh, and the X440T should be in the same ballpark. Baj has also just launched a new variant of the Pulsar N160 at rupees 1.24 lakh with a single piece seat. Bajas says that many N160 buyers preferred a single seat but also wanted a USD fork and this new version does just that. The N160 now has four variants and this one slots just under the split seat USD fork variant. Here is the pricing for all different variants. The bike is mechanically unchanged using the 165cc single cylinder engine putting out 16 horsepower and 14.65 Newton m. It comes in four color options, pearl metallic white, racing red, polar sky blue, and black. Vietnamese automaker Winfast, which entered the Indian market with two cars in September 2025, now plans to bring some of its electric scooters here. Winfast is currently conducting research on which electric scooters to introduce, and a launch, if it happens, can be expected towards the end of 2026. At an event in Vietnam, the brand gave us a glimpse at six of its scooters. These were the Felix, Clario, Theon S, Vivo X, Vento S and Evo Grand. However, there is no word on which of these will make it to our market. Winfast has announced plans to invest approximately 16,000 cr rupees in India. They have begun setting up a production plant in Tamil Nadu, which has an annual capacity of 50,000 electric cars expandable to 1 lak 50,000. And that’s a wrap for quick news this week.
