When Rolls-Royce let Italian coachbuilders write its bodywork — and the results were wild

Ran into a fun bit of history: for a period, Rolls-Royce actually handed some chassis to Italian coachbuilders and let them create the bodywork. So you get proper British engineering wearing Italian style by people like Pininfarina and others.
