1983 dodge rampage to buy or not to buy?

So the past week I’ve been debating getting this dodge rampage every one of my friends says don’t do it but I’m pretty confident I can do any work on it that needs to currently be done, think they’re pretty sweet, and also have talked the poster down a couple grand already.

Reasons I want this car, my Tacoma is getting up there on the mileage and I want to have something not too expensive to whip around town that will be fun and economicalish to drive. Also my girlfriend doesn’t currently have a vehicle so
just a second car we can work on and both drive.
Any inputs very appreciated.
