I Got an ELECTRIC Dirt Bike! HappyRun G300 Pro REVIEW

All right, guys. I was going to make this video when we were down in Tennessee last weekend, but didn’t get around to doing it. We’re too busy having ton of fun down there. Still uh still on a high from that trip. That was a great trip. But anyways, you guys might have saw in the background this Happy Run eBike just chilling. So, this is a G300 Pro from Happy Run, and they sent me this couple months ago to do a review on it and uh let you guys know what I think. And unfortunately, this thing uh well, this is how it was transported basically to and from Tennessee. On the way back, it was especially tragic because uh we encountered a major snowstorm through Michigan. You kind of see the remnants of it on my truck and trailer. Got to wash this stuff up. And uh the bike was subject to all of that. So, it’s going to kind of be a I guess a durability test for this thing today, too, and see how it holds up. So, I’m going to get this thing off the trailer, drive it around a little bit, and let you guys know what I think about this thing. So, right now, Happy Runs Black Friday sale is going on. You can buy from either uh the affiliate link below from me, uh my Amazon link below or right from Happy Runs website, happyrunports.com. So, check out Happy Run if you are interested in getting an ebike and you’ll shortly find out what I think about this thing. I guess first thing we should do is figure out if this thing actually still works. Oh, absolutely. Look at that. Powers right on. Let’s get this thing off the trailer then. All right, I got the bike off the trailer. I’m just going to give you a highlevel overview of what I think about the bike from face value just walking around it and seeing it. So, I’ve had some time to play around with it. Um, but I’m just going to tell you what my initial impressions were. So, first things first, like the color scheme on it looks clean. This thing is also extremely heavy. Uh, you can’t really tell. It looks like it might be a light bike. Uh, but she’s got some mass to her. So, the battery it’s located here. Biased. I don’t know what percent you would call that, but it’s up front. Um, this thing is, uh, in terms of seating position, I feel like I fit pretty good on it. I’m 5’11, just under 200 lbs as of today. Haven’t had any burgers. I fit good on it. The instrumentation and controls are very clean. So, I love the dash on this thing. Nice color display. It tells you everything you need to know. Speed, power, um, what uh, power mode you’re in. There’s five different power modes. Pretty easy to understand. Odometer, all the good stuff. So, pretty easy to use. It’s got multiple different headlights on it. So, it’s got this yellow one here. Strobes. Very handy depending on what kind of riding you plan on doing with this thing. It’s got a tail light. It’s got a horn. It’s pretty loud actually. Turn signals. Overall, good feel for this thing. I like the way it’s laid out. It’s simple to use. Twist throttle right there. I’m not going to hit it cuz it’ll take off into these paddles that I’m trying to sell for my friend Matt Sanford. Buy them if you’re interested. But yeah, this thing overall pretty simple. So to charge the battery, got to unlock this compartment here. And then the charging port is located right under yonder. If you want to remove the battery, you unlock it right here. And then you just lift up on the battery. So we’re going to let this thing hang out on the charger here for a little bit so we can rip it at max juice. And then uh we’ll take her out on the road, take her around the yard here, see how she does. All right, guys. It’s the next day. It’s in the uh high30s here. Unfortunately, didn’t get to make it out yesterday when it was 60. So, that’s unfortunate. But, we’re going to take the uh Happy Happy Run G300 Pro on a little ride, give you some some feedback on it. So, get some safety glasses. We’ll hop on this thing, take off. All right, we’re going to put this on five to start with. That’s the most powerful setting. You don’t need to pedal to take off in this thing. Um, it can be completely operated by the hand throttle. No pedaling is required. So, let’s get started. All right, the Happy Run G300 Pro. So, taking off here. Decided I want to do a loop around the back of the shot before I took it onto the road. So, as you can see, absolutely atrocious GoPro angle that I had set up on my helmet. Real sorry about that. However, uh we’re going to focus on the bike and what I think about the bike. So overall was really impressed with the bike. So the G300 Pro does a good job of accommodating a rider of my size. So I’m about 5’11 200 lb. I feel like I sit on the bike very well. Um even when I’m not pedaling or even when I am pedaling, either way, it’s a comfortable seating position. So, what I do like about the bike is there’s a dedicated throttle if you don’t want to pedal or there’s various power modes, one through five. And if you choose to pedal, basically, you don’t have to use the twist throttle at all. It will just go the maximum speed for each power level that there is. So, I think I’m in five right now, or maybe I’m four. or I can’t remember. Oh, it says five. I’m in five right now. I’m doing about 37 38. I did find that if you use the twist throttle, it kind of overrides that. But you can go almost as fast as they will go in each power mode just by pedaling. So, it’s really convenient for speed restricted zones. Makes it a little bit easier to keep track of your speed and it’s easier on your wrist. So, I do like the gauge display there. It does a good job of conveying all the information. The color screen’s cool. It looks really clean. As you can see on my left hand side, I forgot to cancel the turn signals when I was using it. Simply uh you just got to press the turn signal button in whatever direction you want to go once and then press it again. To cancel it, I didn’t do that. But it all lays out very well. The brakes are very good positioning um in terms of being able to grab them when you’re going places if you need to panic stop. I had to do that a couple times off video. Brakes are great on the machine. So, overall was real happy with this thing. It did a good job. Um this ride went on for about 10 or so minutes and got back. I was cold, but that has nothing to do with the bike. But overall was comfortable. The suspension is really good on the bike. There’s some adjustments. I haven’t had a chance to play around with them, but once I got done with this little jaunt, I decided it would be cool to take the bike off-road and test its off-road capabilities. So, here we are going through a little field. Again, terrible GoPro positioning, but there’s some ruts there. It seemed to handle most of this stuff pretty well, so I didn’t hit it too fast. I wasn’t trying to fall on super hard dirt, but overall it did really well. I’d be curious to maybe take it on a trail ride and see how it performed off-road. All right, guys. So, there’s a high level of what I think about the bike. Got to see it on the road. Got to see it a little bit off-road. Not a whole lot. It was super cold that day. I figured I’d do a test that all of you can appreciate and I certainly will appreciate. Uh we’re going to go pick up some food in this thing and see how it does. So, I’ve got my backpack strapped in. Got a hat cuz it’s a little cold, some Tactical RX safety glasses. Let’s hit the road. Grab some bars. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. N. All right. Not sure what we’re going to do about this drone, but we’re going to put it in the backpack along with the food and hope for the best. Well, we made it back and I got to say I’m impressed. Happy Run G300 Pro. Ride quality was superb. Did not spill the drink. The bag made it here. I’m going to enjoy this bounty. And uh man, what a great ebike. You guys should go get one. All right, guys. That’s it. first ride or first road ride I should say on the new Happy Run G300 Pro. Seems like it’s a decent bike. I’d like to do some more with it. Maybe take it off-road a little bit more than just in the farmer’s field behind me. Um maybe headed up north with it. I don’t know. What do you guys think we should do? I don’t know if this is quite a Dune unit, but hey, we could find out. So, let me know what you guys think about the bikes. Let me know what you guys think about ebikes in general. If you have one, if you like them, if you would get one. Comment below. Let me know what you think. But I appreciate you guys supporting this matter. Thanks for tuning in. We’ll be getting back to more to some more side byside car truck stuff here shortly. Um but yeah, I just wanted you to check out my new ebike. I think it’s pretty cool. We’ll come up with some new stuff to do here shortly. So, appreciate your guys support in this matter. We’ll see you in a couple days.
