The infamous Subaru 360 was the only Kei car to have ever been sold in the USA. It had a 37-second 0-50 time, 18 horsepower, and “displayed shockingly deficient structural integrity”.

I found this Consumer Reports article about this car. They very much did not like the thing.

Apparently, gust of wind blew its suicide doors open during test driving. During an NHSI crash test between a 360 and an American car, the American car's bumper ended up inside the 360's passenger cabin. Its bumpers are described as "virtually useless against anything more formidable than a watermelon".

I still want one lol.
