Officers responded to the area of 94 Goff Road for a motor vehicle accident involving an e-bike on Monday night.
The operator of the bike is identified as 60-year-old Cory Rankin.
According to police, Rankin was traveling north on Goff Road and collided into a legally park unoccupied vehicle south of Nott Street.
Rankin was treated on scene and was transported to a local hospital for his head injury as a result of the collision. Officials say Rankin’s injuries are considered serious but not life threatening.
The Wethersfield police department is investigating the incident.
