INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The 2025 LA Auto Show in Los Angeles showcases the latest innovations in the automotive industry, with transportation expert Mike Caudill highlighting key developments.

Founded in 1907, the Los Angeles Auto Show is a major global event, attracting industry leaders to unveil new models and technologies. This year’s show features significant advancements in electric vehicles and hybrid technology.

“This is the culmination of a year’s work and now we’re moving into the new model year cycle,” Caudill said, transportation expert, during his coverage of the show.

Volkswagen has restored a classic VW bus that survived the Palisades fire, showcasing it at the show as a symbol of resilience and recovery. The company has also debuted the ID Buzz, an all-electric modern version of the iconic bus.

Volkswagen’s GTI and Golf models have won the Motor Trend Car of the Year Award, praised for their sporty design and affordability, with starting prices under $35,000.

Subaru introduced a new Outback model featuring the Wilderness Off-Road Package, designed for adventure with increased ground clearance and cargo capacity.

Nissan unveiled the plug-in hybrid version of the Rogue, offering 38 miles of electric range and fast charging capabilities. The Pathfinder and Sentra models also received updates, including new designs and enhanced technology.

Ford is offering an immersive Mustang experience off-site, allowing visitors to engage with the brand’s history and latest supercar innovations.

The LA Auto Show continues to be a pivotal event for the automotive industry, highlighting advancements in electric and hybrid vehicles while celebrating classic designs and innovative experiences.
