We are 100% a Toyota family. Everyone drives a Toyota but no one else drives a 4Runner except me. According to Abuela,
the color of my car is Café Con Leche. My name is Lauren Paulette. I won the 4RunnerLandia Contest. The prize is a 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro, and cash to purchase land to explore with the vehicle. I feel like my best self when I am outside and interacting with nature. My dream is to find a property in West Virginia that I can turn into a wellness retreat space, a place where every fall I can bring a group of women from all backgrounds, all ethnicities, all, you know, walks of life, to come and relax and experience the sort of peace that I feel when I’m in nature. A sustainability professional can be a lot of things, but in my case, I help educate residents on sustainable lifestyle choices
that they can make every single day. I’ve never had a new car before. This is amazing! My favorite feature right now is the heated steering wheel. One thing that I have learned from the oak trees is patience. Oaks take their time, and nature takes its time to produce great things. And so… As someone who comes from like a super, fun, vibrant, rowdy Cuban family, patience is not necessarily some things that we prioritize or are raised with, but it’s something that nature has helped me learn. And so as I get older, I think about how we can learn a lot from the oak trees And we can be more patient.
