This Is the Rarest E-Bike Ever Made (Only 500 in the World)

This is the Altus Sigma Limited Edition. The most powerful and rarest bike Altus has ever made. Not only does it look amazing in its stock stand form, I’d say it’s one of the best looking on the market. And today, I finally got my hands on one. For the people who don’t know, the Sigma is no joke. It runs a 98volt 35 amp hour battery, pushing out nearly 22 kilowatts of peak power, giving it up to 10% more range through a hairpin motor. The same high efficiency winding tech Mark Zuckerberg uses in his electric supercars. Shout out Tesla. It weighs right around 185 lbs, has five levels of regen, and it’ll rip up to 70 mph once unlocked. It’s got DOT approved hydraulic brakes, dual piston calipers, oversized rotors front and rear. The frame is forged aluminum, super rigid, but lightweight at the same time. And it sits on 19inch wheels with a fully adjustable suspension setup that’s perfect for both street and trails. And then there’s the look. Stealth matte black paint, red plastics, and of course, the limited edition badge. I also got some modifications I’m going to put on my Altus at the end of the day today. The super moto wheels, bars, and new grips should be the perfect combo. I wanted to test the range today, so I plugged it in to get a full 100% battery. Since I had some time to kill, I figured I clean off my other Alta Sigma since it’s been dirty for the past few months. A quick pressure wash and wipe down to make it nice and shiny again. This is literally my first time riding it, so I did not know really what to expect. It looks the coolest. I’ll say that for sure. It’s like a if a Stark Var and a Ciron had a baby, this is what came of it. Oh my gosh, the throttle being smoother makes a world of a difference. Having a brand new bike and just feeling the smoothness is just it’s unmatched. Honestly, I have bars, grips, and new wheels that I’m going to put on after I go and rip these hills. And it’s like the gnarliest trails ever. So, then it really puts this bike to the test. We got better suspension front and rear. I pumped these front forks up to 150 PSI. They feel pretty good. Still a little soft, but I don’t want to go too too much cuz I don’t want to blow it out, of course. Damn, this thing feels so nice right now. I don’t even want to take it. Let’s see how she does on the outdoors. Oh gosh, there goes the peg. Yep. I’m also filming on a new camera, so let me know what you guys think. We’re going to leave this thing in sport. That thing sounds like a lawn mower, dude. So, when I had my Altus thing was great. I only put 104 miles on it. The bike is practically brand new. I figured when he was sending me this Altus, I was like, “Okay, now I got an extra Altus.” So, someone’s going to be stoked for Christmas. That’s for sure. Well, yeah. I definitely will opt for a 16 rear on the off-road. I could feel the 19 and just how different it feels. We’ll take the 16 next time around, dude. Them getting up. That is going to be hell. Dude, I’m about to just start bringing an a spare like freaking couple bolts every ride now. All right, had a little piss stop. I got three bolts in that front brake caliper, so hopefully it holds up. I tightened the hell out of them, so should be good. Oh my gosh, these trails are so rough, dude. Like, this bike for sure could be off-road, but I just feel like it was meant to be a super moto, honestly. It’s so stealth. It’s so quiet. It looks extremely sick, dude. That’s the first thing that comes to my mind when I’m riding this thing. It’s just pure smoothness. Like the update that they did to this bike, I actually noticed a difference. 150 PSI is probably too much for the forks, but Oh, shoot. That was a fat rock. Definitely needed. Oh my gosh. I can’t even freaking breathe, bro. I’m beyond excited, guys. We are getting rain for the first time, and which means all this dirt is going to be prime time, which you know what that means? Regen was not usable on this bike before. And I’m wondering if they fixed it. Oh, I think they fixed it. Oh yeah, they totally fixed the regen. The regen used to be awful on this bike. Again, guys, my bike that I’m giving away is going to be updated with this current software. So, don’t even worry about the stuff that I’m saying about the previous version. Race mode is just unbelievably fast for a bike of this size that that just turns this bike into like a whole different beast. I would say that it’s like a comfortable speed all around, especially out here for the trails. I think race mode might be usable for the street. So, once I put my super motos on and start getting a little more comfy on it. Street riding and dirt riding is like so drastically different. You can’t even really compare the two. And that’s why when you see people, you see them, they’re really good on dirt, but they suck at street. Or you see someone who’s insane at street and then they ride dirt and it’s like they don’t know how to ride dirt cuz they’re just so polar opposites. But right now, we’re going to this wall right up here is literally like vertical. And uh he said the unicycle might make it. So we’re gonna test that theory right now. There she is, brother. That is a wall and a half if I ever seen one. Bro, that thing’s steep. Dude, there ain’t no way. Matt, you’re going to go down that? I think I can go down it. I don’t think I can go up it. Like, it it’s good for the trails. You could rip this thing. Like, if you were to put like some serious front suspension and rear, it would probably be insane. Oh, was that a coyote? What the freak was that? That thing was ripping. You imagine if I were to smoke that thing right now? Dude, this bike has so much power. It just like feels like it keeps pulling. Like, it just doesn’t stop pulling. This right here, guys, will be the last time that this bike sees dirt like this. Once it’s a super moto, she’s staying one. All right, ladies and gents. 14 miles, 61%. Pretty solid, if I might say. The limited edition is definitely different. it. It’s not like drastically different obviously, but I could definitely tell and feel the differences between this one and the original one that I rode. Let’s go throw the sumos on this thing. See how she does on the street with some super motors. I thought this was going to be a quick 30-minute swap. And man, I was wrong. Getting the rotors and sprocket off was tough. I don’t know what they used for Loctite, but it may as well be JB Weld. After a few strip bolts, I ran into another problem. Do the honors. Frick, dude. Oh my gosh, brother. Getting the rear wheel on took four of us. All hands on deck. Brother, we got to use manpower. We finally got it. And of course, my front rotor did not fit. I wanted the wheels on the bike regardless. So, for now, I have no front brake. We started this when the sun was still out and now it’s completely dark and I got a long ride home. Let’s get it done. Finally got the super motos on. Right now, I do not have a front brake, which is uh kind of sketchy if I’m being honest. Whoa. It like crazy, dude. Look at that. I thought sumos were weird. I put these things at 30 PSI. It feels great. This feels good. I like the super motors. I think it feels good. Oh my gosh. That’s why it’s so easy to wheelie. I just realized I have no front rotor. That is why all these kids run no front rotor on their builds is literally for that reason right there. I see why kids love ebikes. Dude, you can just get anywhere on them. Like it’s the ultimate freedom right now. Holy freak, I’m cold. I got goosebumps. We’re getting home in no time, brother. Woo! Ultra Sigma. Like I said, it was a dirt build, but now it’s the super motor build and it’s staying like that. And no, I’m not going to start doing full-blown street content, so don’t worry about that.
