The Tesla Model Y performance has just landed in Australia and it’s definitely one to get excited about if the performance of the Model 3 Performance is anything to go by cuz that model really did have a big step up in terms of its overall driving experience. It’s going to cost you just under $90,000 before on cost about 95 once you strap on taxes and the like. It’s dual motor like before pretty darn fast. 0 is going to take you about 3.5 seconds. So, not much at all really. 580ks of range is also pretty impressive. And I really do like the design. Having a look at it in the flesh here. I think this facelift has been a very good thing for the Model Y. Looks a lot less friendly and it looks a lot more fitting of its more aggressive grade here in the performance here. Got these wheels here. Bit of an aggressive design as well. I can’t say I love those nearly as much as I do the headlights, but you know, pretty nice overall, I suppose. Coming around to the rear here, you can see we’ve got this little spoiler coming off the back here. Looks quite nice. And of course that single tail light that runs all the way across. Really quite a good thing. I think you can see it also really does sit quite a lot lower than the regular Model Y as well. But let’s have a look inside. Not a whole lot different inside the interior of the Model Y performance. You can see we’ve got the played graphics here on the seat. Really aggressive looking huggy bucket seats. And we’ve got over here just the single enormous touchscreen. This being a Tesla, it means we don’t actually have a digital driver’s display, but we do have the indicator stalk that has returned.
