BYD’s Hilux challenger comes with a 1.5T petrol PHEV with 840 km range.
This is BYOD’s answer to the Hilux, the Body Shark 6. Instead of a diesel, it’s got a 1.5 turbo plug-in hybrid petrol with a combined output of 436 horsepower, 650 Nm of torque, one electric motor on each axle. On a full charge, it can cover 100 km of electric range, and a combined range of up to 840 km from the plug-in hybrid system. It’s got a payload capacity of 835 kg with a plug port at the rear. Inside you get a very nice and luxuriously appointed cabin with a large center touchscreen, wireless charging, fighter jet style center console, dino audio sound system and rear events.
