India’s first electric motorcycle with CCS2 charging capability | Raptee.HV T30 Review
We have been riding the Rapi HV T30 electric motorcycle for past few hours. And here’s a quick review of how it rides and is it worth rupees 2.39 lakh extra room. The CEO of Rapti is a former Tesla employee. So you can see influence of clean and minimalist design all over the motorcycle. Personally, I feel the bike has a resemblance with Dominar. The panel gaps feel inconsistent, but this is a pre-production vehicle. The touchscreen is pretty seamless, but I feel the maps are not the best and they need some work to be done. Also, this cluster of toggle switches on the left hand side can feel overwhelming for firsttime riders. The 22 kW motor provides a linear delivery. The riding position is slightly aggressive but I am comfortable with it. The ride quality is pretty good but the suspension are on stiffer side so you feel the harshness while going on a rumble strip. It brings me a smile when I put the bike in sprint mode and open the throttle fully. But power mode is where I find this bike to be balanced. It is best of both the world. I can ride it in city as well as on highway. Ultraviolet’s UV linking extension opened the door for public charging access for two wheelers, but it doesn’t support fast charging due to the battery limitations. Rapi takes it a step further with CCS2 compatibility. The T30 can be charged via any public charger and add around 50 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes using a public fast charger, which is a very practical solution. And if you are worried about the battery warranty on battery if charged in a public charger, then swipe left to watch our interview with Rapty CEO. Overall, the Rapty HVT30 makes sense for someone who can’t quite stretch the budget to buy an ultraviolet or someone who doesn’t need that power or torque which ultraviolet provides, but still wants something which is modern, manageable, and practical. especially when it comes to charging flexibility and day-to-day usability. Comment Rap and we’ll send you the full review in your DM.
