Yamaha Aerox E (Electric) and EC 06 electric scooters for India
Yes, this is Yamaha. We are in India. We are in Mumbai. Yamaha has finally gone electric. Namaste electric says Yamaha. This is the EC06 EC06 more towards being a commuter friendly electric offering. And you also have the sportier iteration, the Aerox. Aerox has always been known to going to be a performance motor scooter. And now you can have the fun of riding a scooter in electric as well. Looks identical to the normal Aerox. Uh this again AC06 is more computer friendly. Uh the design from the back the setup. I’ll spend a few minutes around the EC06 and then I’ll go onto the Aerox as well. Uh the EC06 understandably uh charging port is very very accessible right over here and the charging will be done through this where the customers are going to get this for charging uh the battery of the EC06 offerings you have the charge and seat right over here seat you have seen on the Aeros as well the same you have to open the seat right from from here I press this the seat is going to pop out and look at the space on offer this entire area is usable pretty deep as well look my hand going inside. Very usable. Uh good good for a EV uh uh usage. Your small tok comes on this part. Let me close this. Expectedly uh full duty control right over here. Uh currently 90% is what the battery is. Uh your start ignition right from over here. And this also means you’re going to have a reverse assist uh left side. And very practical storage spaces on this part. A big big floorboard area. very usable, very practical. Uh white tires and you see UPS unified braking system more towards being a commuter friendly option. The color is nice. There might be other offering as well. And then you have uh the aeros the sporty Aerox uh till now known for uh its uh sporty performance in the patrol segment. Now also in the EVF and ample battery space. The two batteries are right over here. They power the uh Aerox. Uh this has been under wraps in a very nice way. Be never an idea. Yama’s going to get this to India. The two batteries right over here. And yet you have space, some kind of space. A halfway helmet might not come. Of course, there’s no engine. You have all the stuff, the motor right over here, the rear disc brake, pretty wide tires, and on the left side, neat design on this part. uh same kind of floorboard you see on the normal Aerox. So you can say it’s a Aeros Patrol Aeros with a ED heart. Uh some figures this is good for 160 km of usage that’s pretty pretty good. But Aeros given the performance jeans is for around 106 km. That’s what they say. Uh nice uh white shade with inserts of light blue at places. Uh looks pretty good but the same kind of headlights and an altered uh D display. It’s smaller but it’s pretty pretty nice. You get your indications right over here including the indications for both the batteries. Two batteries you have two indication right now and excess panel for the technician at service level not to be near the storage space. Uh charging can be done from here. So yes Yamaha welcome to the world of PDS. It’s a very very good move. You also have uh the X XSR standing somewhere right over there. The XSR has been launched. Uh that’s a different video coming in. But for now from Mumbai, welcome Yama to the EV world with the EC06 and the Air Rocks Lit. No words right now on the pricing or the launch. Next year pricing could be around 1.5 1.6 lakh rupees. That could be 1 lakh rupees. Uh 40 plus at the rear wheel that’s more computer friendly. This is more performanceoriented.
