The art of keeping memories alive | Andrea Vailetti and ORIGINALE 11
I grew up in between cars and motorcycles, particularly vintage cars. My love for cars started with my grandfather who was car addicted and that opened for me the door of fullness connected with the engines. Being a photographer means collecting moments. So driving, exploring and collecting stuff. It’s all together are a part of my life. The car itself is a memory because I bought it when my daughter was born and for me there was a connection between the car and her when I was a teenager in my parents house I always had my rooms full of posters and stuff. It’s a nice passion because it gives you purpose, it gives you curiosity and you connect the things that you find with the experience of searching for them. The original magazine could be the connection between what you’re looking for and what you need to know. It’s something precious. It gives you a kind of feeling how the brand gives value also in the little things. Everyone can catch the big picture but the differences in details and that’s what I look for. [Music]
Photography and classic vehicles share the same foundation: precision and passion.
In this video, we follow Andrea Vailetti through Milan as he reflects on his approach to capturing memories – both behind the camera and behind the wheel of his classic 911.
