China’s $112 BILLION Auto Tsunami: Vehicle Exports Surge 34% In One Month!

So, we all know that Chinese car sales have grown worldwide significantly, particularly in China. But what about exports? China’s exports have risen, and China now exports more cars than any other country in the world. They were fifth place only a few years ago. They’re now first. But what are the actual numbers? I mean, here are the here here’s the numbers. China’s exports increased by 14.3% this year to 113 billion US. That’s for the first 10 months. That’s a new record. To be honest, it hasn’t grown quite as fast as what I expected, but part of that is because the US has blocked them. So has Canada. And Europe has placed these enormous tariffs on Chinese EVs. When you consider the context of that, then they’re doing pretty well. YouTube’s new algorithm means that you’re often not getting all of our videos in your feed. Pretty sure you’re probably not seeing a lot of them. In the description, there is a link to our newsletter. Click on that and you can get an update every day of all the latest news in the electric car industry. Hello, my friends. Welcome to the channel. I’m Sam Evans and I’m paid by the Chinese government. It’s a special deal. They pay me billions of dollars and I’m still running this YouTube channel. What am I doing doing this YouTube videos every day? I’m paid billions by the Chinese government to spru their stuff. I don’t know. If only China’s automotive industry recorded an export value of 798.4 billion R&B, which is about 113 billion US. That’s in the first 10 months of the year. And that’s a year-on-year increase of 14.3%. So that means Chinese car sales are growing significantly. Cherry is one of the biggest exporters of cars worldwide. Build exports have grown enormously. So have other companies like Zika and Xpang, but so have um also Leap Motor. They’ve done quite well too. Now during this period right China’s actual goods that not not cars but actual just goods in general they hit $3.1 trillion of exports 3.1 trillion that’s growth of 6.2%. So the automotive industry has grown a lot more than that. A lot faster. China’s general export market has grown more than double. Imports apparently though were 2.1 trillion. So surprisingly, China exported 3.12 trillion of stuff, but they imported 2.14 trillion, which was unchanged from a year earlier. But China does import a lot. Yeah, they import a lot of beef from Australia. They import a lot of dairy. A lot of food they import. The automotive sector was among the strongest contributors for export growth over the country, says Kuse China outperforming the manufacturing average significantly. Mechanical and electrical products accounted for over 60% of China’s exports with automobiles and semiconductors the main place where they’ve seen gains. In October though was very different, right? Car exports in October from China increased by 34% from a year earlier. Integrated circuit exports increased 27%. So you can see that Chinese automakers are actually growing faster. Now the start of the year not a lot of growth but now 34% in the most recent month that we have data for. This trend says Carnage China has enabled China’s automakers to expand their presence in emerging regions including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America but also countries like Australia where they’ve significantly grown their market share. Now, interestingly, China’s overall exports in October fell by 1% yearonear. So, it’s really just China’s automotive industry that is kind of pushing them into the point where they’re not really losing ground versus last year. And this was the first monthly decline though in several months. Economists say last year’s high comparison base of fewer working days due to the mid-autumn holiday and wicked demand from western markets as key uh key factors for the reason that China’s exports fell by nearly 1% in October. Now cars up by 34% but other stuff down. Guys, I use Power Shock, my electricity to charge my EV for free between 12 and 2:00 during the day. I’ll put a link in the description. If you sign up with them, you get $170 discount to sign up. Also, my solar and batteries. I’ve got a 50 kWh battery here, and I’ve got a big solar array. So, I pay $0 for electricity. That’s including charging my electric car. Reync Solar is the company that I used. I’ll put a link to them in the description below. Now, I should mention that there’s another group that export a lot of cars, and that’s sic. They’re a state government-owned manufacturer. They sell MG, IM Motors, their vehicles, they make a lot of different cars. And they also make General Motors vehicles for them as a joint venture in China. But of course, a lot of people in Europe buy MGs because they don’t know that they’re actually Chinese. They think they’re that MG is a British brand. Now, as you can see, exports for cars have grown significantly. But clearly those export that export growth to the automotive industry is growing significantly to 34% versus the same month of last year and I think that’s very clear evidence of disruption. Now even though the overall automotive industry has only grown by 14% this year 14% is still pretty significant. If they continue to grow at 14% for the next 10 years they’ll take probably around 60 to 70% of the entire global automotive industry worldwide. So even though this growth doesn’t appear super fast, it’s a lot faster than you realize. And I think when you look at the pricing for China’s cars outside of Australia, they’re growing their their dealerships. They’re growing their marketing presence. They’re growing their visibility. And I think they’re also improving their product enormously. This will help China probably speed up the growth of their exports of their vehicles worldwide. But guys, let me know. Do you agree? Do you disagree? Do you see this a good thing or a bad thing or just just what it is? It is what it is. Let us let me know how you see this in the comments. Thanks for watching. [Music]
