New Lexus ES 2026 First Look Review
Hello guys and welcome back to a new video from Turk Motor Show 2025. Behind me is the brand new Lexus ES which I didn’t have time until now to review. But today it’s basically for the second time when I saw it. I saw it in Basel I think like one month ago and now I see it here for the second time. But today I have a little bit more time to see the car, to look at the car, to see the interior. And I have to be honest with you, this is I think second place car from Turig Motor Show that I like. First is uh Kia K4 and this Lexus ES is the second one. I definitely love the exterior design. I like the interior, but I think it’s a fantastic step up forward in terms of upgrade when it comes to Lexus ES. And I want to present you and basically here in Suriri I was reviewing today most of the day only here at this floor where is Toyota with Lexus because Toyota and Lexus bring a new platform and most of the new cars here are built on this TGA platform and also this one here they have also yeah different it’s the same platform which accommodate hybrid system and full electric cars and this for the first time Lexus US ES come as full electric with two version we will talk about that in this video just I want to show you the car a little bit exterior interior we talk about the car but as soon as I get the car for a proper test drive and review will come on the channel so stay close to see a little bit more about that I’m a little bit tired because today I filmed the whole day so I I’m here for around I think like from 8:00 in the morning until now and it’s almost 8:00 in the evening so there are almost 12 hours being here reviewing and filming and I’m a little bit tired if I do some mistakes. It’s understandable. What is very important to point out and to remember and keep in mind regarding this Lexus ES is build on the on the new platform as I say TGA GA car platform and to accommodate full hybrid and also full electric versions like it comes also in two version. Now the structural rigidity have been improved front, floor, rear to reduce vibration for better support and uh yeah better driving experience which is great for the first time. Also the ES receive a multi-link rear suspension of course with McPerson independent on the front and multi-link suspension on the rear. New multimedia screen, new technology, new safety features. It’s 16 cm longer and the wheelbase 8 cm longer than the previous version. That mean more space inside, more space in the trunk and a more spacious cabin. I’m not going to take you in too many technical data. I don’t want to talk too much because as soon as I get the car, I will talk anyway. I just want to show you the car and man, I want to enjoy it together. It looks so good. So, probably it’s one of the most beautiful sedan on the market. Long. It’s a 5 m and uh I think if I remember well 5 m and 10 cm or something like that. It’s pretty long and also it’s brighter now. Anyway, more details will come soon on the channel as soon as I get the car. But now I just want to enjoy together the ambient here with the car. And look at those crazy lines on the front hood. It’s it’s just gorgeous. I mean from the front to the back, it looks amazing. Also, it comes with handles integrated into the doors. uh which remember me a little bit of some uh BMW models but man there are so many unique lines and uh designs on this car that just just crazy just impress me a lot and uh you can see it will come also as a full hybrid 2.5 liter petrol engine but will come also as full electric ES 350e or ES500E I think here yeah it’s a 350 50 uh and the range it’s up to 530 kilometers. The price is still not said here in Switzerland, but yeah, I’m really curious to see the prices as well. I want to start a little bit by talking about the elements and we will start with the back end. And first of all, you can see this LED light bar that goes across the back of the car in a super beautiful way with a Lexus writing in the back in a three-dimensional splendid way. LED lights on the number plate. Check this out. Two cameras on the rear. One, one from the mirror. For the mirror, one for the normal system. I will show you when we get inside. ES 350H writing there. Very subtle gray. It’s gray metallic. A beautiful color. Uh this gray, it’s fit so nice with this car. The interesting thing is that the turning signal, turning indicator, there are so interesting place that I was so impressed and I want to show you that. So yeah, let me here are also some physical button for the volume. We will go inside as well. We talk a little bit about this uh screen which is new. We talk about the digital screen which have a super nice interesting shape. Of course the mirror here with the camera that I told you a little bit earlier and we talk about the interior. Just wait until we get there. But I want to show you something in the back. Look where they place the turning signal turning indicator in an L design. It looks just gorgeous, man. Look at this. Super super interesting. Six sensors for the safety features. A lot of sharp edges and interesting lines on the car. Down here you have some black uh matte plastic with a black glossy here in the back. So no exhaust or something like that. Just clean design, simple on the upper side here. Again, clean design. You have the rear window which is tinted. You have this super interesting line here shape. It’s so sharp and it’s it’s making the car and the back end so engaging. Look at those lines. Look at this shoulder. How it how it’s bend around here. It’s so futuristic. It’s so unique and it looks so cool, right? And then you have the rims. If I’m not wrong, those are 2019. Wo. And it looks it looks bigger. It looks like 20 or 21, but they are 19. They are also like here you have plastic caps and here you have alloy wheels. It’s a combination to improve the uh air around the the car. Then you have the braking discs. You have down here some black glossia again and some plastic to protect the down part the skirt. No protection around the wheels, but you have some protection in the front. And here you have ventilated brake. This normal brake calipers, but nice rims. They fit nice. I like also this line here. You see? And it comes, it start with this black glossy that goes all the way down here and then all the way down in the back. It looks really nice as an add-on. I love the handles with keyless entrance. From here, you go and you have a button behind. You press it and you unlock the door. The doors sound very good. From what I understand, they improve the ceilings, the sound insulation, and plenty of materials have been improved on this new version. It sounds really good. around the windows. Some black matte. I like that. Then tinted windows. Black glossy between the windows. Nice transition. This is the mirror. Pretty big blind spot technology. And black inside, black glossy like a proper premium car. Turning signal LED. And I like also the mirror shape. Look at the mirror shape. It’s so interesting. It comes so so cool, so so modern and unique. Here is the camera for 360° camera. And look at the leg of the mirror. How aerodynamic it is. So cool, man. Love it. So unique. Usually I didn’t want to review this car, but when I see it, I was like, man, I love it. I have to do it. Then on the windshield up there, you have the camera, the sensors for the safety features. We will test it as soon as I get the car. And in the front, look at the turning signal and daytime running light. Usually in most of the cars, they didn’t have a I don’t know. It’s like an arrow that goes in this way and then an arrow that goes outside. It’s how cool it is. And then it’s not only the turning signal, but even this design up here on the hood and the line on the side. It makes a lot of sense like continuation to the headlamps. You see, it just start with those sharp line and then it continuing. It’s it’s really interesting. It’s so unique and interesting as a design. Crazy from the front end. Very aggressive. Very super car, sporty design. Headlamps, full LED, adaptive, of course. And look at the shape of the bonnet from here. Man, I love it. Headlamps, full LED, no matrix, high beam, low beam. Down here, we have like black glossy insertion. Again, some mat. Down here, you have also interesting design. And then you have the air intakes which doesn’t have any or no, it’s just the air will go directly inside there to the radiator. So no clappers or something like that. Here is the front camera. Very interesting where they place it. And then here is the rudder for the safety feature. Uh again the six parking sensors on the front and this interesting nose which is extended around here and here you have again air intake so that all of the air to go inside there. Uh, cool. Cool stuff. And this is the design, guys. What do you think about it? Do you like it or not? And you can see slooping back like a coupe. It goes like a cool coupe in the back there. Now, what I want to show you guys, I don’t think it make any sense to show you under the hood or basically I will add some images now with how it looks under the hood so you can make an idea. But I want to stop the hazard light because I will attract more and more and more and more and more people. I will stop the lights if it’s possible or not. But I want to show you in the trunk. This one go in the trunk. And here, by the way, you have the the tank which you have to open it from the interior. Trunk. Uh, open the trunk. Automatic lift gate. Here up here, you have the button in order to close it. Also, you have a handle to close it manually. Of course, it’s not a hatchback, but boy oh boy, this entrance, it’s just huge. I know on the camera on the video you can make an idea but trust me it’s really big. You can fit in here a lot of stuff. You can fit in huge amount of things. You have some plastic at the entrance here. So as the car is looking I was expect to have some uh aluminium here because it looks really premium but you have like around let’s say 20 no 10 to 15 cm. You have hooks in every corner. Some storage space right here. You have also some Yeah, I think if I’m not wrong, behind here is a 12vt battery. Yes, I was right. And down here you have some storage space where you can add different things. Not too much, not too many things, but a few things you can add here. And you can also basically fold down this area in the seats. So you have a kind of a flat should there. So this is also possible. I’m not going to do it now because I will do it when I will have the car. But you know the back end in this area remember me of Lucy there. Lucy there have the trunk very similar. They improved the ceilings as I understand everywhere. So should be better sound insulation. They improve also all the cabin. The platform is different. Everything is new. The window from one piece is huge. You have very good visibility from the interior. Uh also I cannot fold it down. Also the quality on materials. You have soft material up here like a rubber. You have here leather, ecological leather, leather here. Also here you have soft material. You have also ambient light here. And then you have those super cool interesting speakers. Mark Levenson. And inside the speakers, you have LED light. It’s crazy. I don’t know on the video, but in reality, it looks so interesting the way they they design it. There is a button here to unlock the car electrically. Down here, you have LED light and some storage space, which is more than enough. And plus here you have the button to lock and unlock the car. At the entrance, some plastic plate. And this is the entrance. It’s huge, man. Bro, I I don’t know how to explain you more. How huge is this entrance in the back. It’s really, really big. Trust me. And write me if you already know it. If you already know the car, write me in the comment if I’m right or not. This is really huge. The entrance. And this is the way it looks inside. Those are the seats. But on the uh roof we have this panoramic glass roof which you can close it and open it electrically. And otherwise the roof it’s in black. The quality on the roof it’s fine. It’s a textile material. Up here you have also some LED light if I remember well how you open it. Yeah. Here it’s LED. So it’s a touch LED. But I want to show you the seats before. Here is by the way if you’re wondering what is this? This is the air ventilation. So from here come air outside and inside the cool from the battery because the battery it’s somewhere under there. So it needs some cooling. So yeah it needs some air to go to flow around there. And also this is made if I’m not wrong uh this version it’s electric but on the full hybrid versions this here is the battery and I think the design is still kept from the from the full hybrid also on the electric version and that why they have this. I think the electric version don’t need this. Anyway, I like the fact that this, you can see those leather seats are extended until here, until they’re rubber, and it’s fantastic because you have such a good uh even the the shoulder support. You have such a good comfort here. Even the headrest have an interesting design. I really love the quality and the comfort on these seats is just incredible. You feel like you’re staying on a sofa. You have two ESO fix. You have this armrest with uh cup holders here space and you have also this if I’m not wrong extendable but now it’s not working anymore but yeah it should be extendable. Uh then you have back of the seats some plastic, some storage space. Uh the transition the transmission tunnel. It’s relatively small, just something like that, maybe 10 cm. But man, check this out. Let’s let’s just Yeah, something else. Sound insulation is much better. Not too much noise from outside. Great visibility on the window. And you have another window here. But man, the most impressive thing, it’s sitting on those seats after you’re working 12 hours. Oh my god, I just I can sleep here in the car. It’s so comfy. And let’s keep in mind, it’s an electric car, so it stays a little bit above maybe three fingers, but I can stretch my leg there. And man, I have enough space. 173 cm for me, it’s more than fine. And I have enough space on my on my knees. As I said, the wheelbase is bigger. The car is bigger. Much more space. Super comfortable. Love it. Now, here in the middle, two vents. So, you can see, you can adjust it from here. You have two USB C ports. And down here, it’s nothing. And if I want to go in the middle, let me switch it up. You have this transmission tunnel. You can stay also with your legs together here, up or wherever. I have still have space on the head. I have less space now. Three fingers. Can stretch my hand almost completely left and right. Uh, but overall I would say it’s a little bit stiffer and I’m a little bit higher on the back. Surprisingly, even though it has that armrest, it’s soft. It’s a soft wa. It’s the softest back armrest ever tested. And this is the dashboard. Yeah. Let me turn. Let me put a contact. I want to see the screens. I want to show you the screens. Come on. And look at the ambient light. It’s so blending the colors. Interesting. I never saw it before like that. Come on. Lexus. Look at the dashboard. It’s simple. I like the fact that it’s pretty flat. You have a great visibility. It’s modern. It has a new huge screen in the middle. It has a new digital cockpit which have a very interesting unique design and steering wheel round. Pretty simple, but it looks nice. Uh center console high and nice. And yeah, it looks good overall. It looks pretty pretty good. Pretty modern. Let me go there, bro. But it’s so big, man. This car is so big. I can I can also sleep here. I mean it’s really really big. I can it’s really wide also. Now even the door is so big when I open it. You see how noisy is here. Now let’s go in the front. Open the door. One big window from one piece. Here you have soft material. Soft material. Speaker with LED lights. Soft material. Soft material. Open the door. A lot of buttons. Electric adjustable mirrors. Lock. Unlock. Open the windows. storage space. It’s small for how big is the car, but it is it’s fine. Another LED. Very useful. Speaker here. And also, by the way, this hole here is for the for theatic system that come here. Go here and then go outside here and it goes on the window to defrost fast. Here on aluminum plate, you have Lexus normal pedals, but they are illuminated down there. This is the button to open the trunk, open the tank a little bit higher. You have some buttons integrated here for the seat uh electric seat position. Nice trim here. And also you have Nano X. This is for the extra filtration from the climatic system. They write it also here. Quite cool. The Toyota have it as well. And if I remember well the new CHR plus have it as well. Stove material here as well. Oh, here’s Alantara. I like that. But otherwise, stove everywhere. Electric adjustable seats in the front of course as I said. And this is the way it looks in the front. Panoramic glass roof. You can open it, close it from here from those buttons if I’m not wrong. Yes, here you have the buttons. So you can close it. You can open it. Ah, and you can open also the window if you want. Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool stuff. And here, come on. Where is the Ah, it’s on the other side here. So you can close this curtain. You can open it electrically, but you can al also open the window. That’s That’s nice. Okay, those are the seats. Super comfortable. Love the seats with a side support here. Side support here. Side support here. Pretty wide, soft. They are perforated, fitted. Down here under the center console, you have some storage space where you can add different items. And yeah, let me go inside. It’s so noisy, man. Outside. Oh, so noisy when you close the door. It’s so silent. Very good visibility around the window. I like that the A-pillar, man, it’s so small. It’s really small. So, you have good visibility. Great visibility in the mirrors. Around the window, you have fantastic visibility. Nothing to say. Also, in the back there, quite fine. Maybe a little bit of blind spot in the corners. Uh, but it’s fine. Here you have this armrest in soft like this leather, ecological leather. You can open it like that. And you have a USB C and a 12vt port here. Super useful. Yes. And you can open it from the other side for the passenger. Cool stuff, right? That’s what Toyota implement in the last period of time. I like this armrest. Then we have also here two wireless charging which is phenomenal. It’s very useful. Or it’s just one. It’s just this one. This one is not. Uh but this one it’s wireless. This is two USBC. Here we have some storage space. Two cup holders. parking button, drive. You have also S for sport mode, wireless wireless uh transmission. I like that. Uh shift by wire transmission. Here you have electronic handbrake, auto hold, EV mode, traction control. I love it. I love the way they they position it here. I think the center console is perfectly placed. You have this steering wheel which is electric adjustable from here. From the side, you have some buttons here in the back. So from here you can adjust the steering wheel up, down, left, right, wherever you want. But the grip, man, and the feeling of the steering wheel, it’s so cool. It’s like, you know, it’s like a leather, but it feels like, you know, dry leather. I don’t know how to explain it. It’s really interesting the feeling and the Yeah, the material is really unique and different. You have the pedals from here to recuperate energy. Uh you have also here uh some physical button. I love that they are physical, so you can press it basically. Voice command from here. Also physical button for the volume and here’s for the autopilot and cruise control. Super easy to set it up with those physical button. Love it. Really, really cool stuff. This is the screen. Super nice, super unique, super futuristic and with a shape that’s really interesting. Uh, also the graphic. We saw it before also on other um versions, other cars from them. But otherwise, it’s so so cool because you can configure it in many ways. And yeah, it’s nice. You can see so many interesting thing uh there. I’m not going to go in detail, but you can see on the left side like the consumption like tire pressure, if the car has some errors, uh you can go even in settings if you want to to change different settings. The consumption Um, and yeah, so on. And if you go in settings, you can basically, let me show you. You can change different head-up display. You can turn it on. I don’t know if you can see it. Is directly on the windshield right there in front. It looks good. Looks pretty good. Um, great integrated. And here you have a few other settings. If you go a little bit deeper, you can also open uh the language and different other settings. We will go in detail as soon as I get the car. Uh, start stop engine button. Here are the climatic system buttons. And then you have also some touch buttons integrated in this kind of a leather. Very nice feeling. This is the same material as on the steering wheel. It’s so interesting. I like it. And then you press this and you go and open the 360° cameras from here. So the park assist is activated now. But I think I want to see just the camera. Wait a second. Accept this. No, I can’t see. But the camera has this 360° camera defrosting buttons. This is the park assist which I can deactivate it. And from here, you just change the temperature. So easy. So yeah, you know, even though it doesn’t have too many physical buttons, it’s ergonomic and it’s relatively easy to switch different settings. It’s not so complicated and you can get used with them easy. Here is the LED light. Interesting. uh integrated. It’s a nice trim. Down here is the glove box. You have a button here. Yeah, this is the glove box. Relatively fine. And up here you have the mirror with the camera as I said. This is the mirror. This is the way it looks in the back. This is the camera. And from here you can customize wherever settings you want. This is so cool. Here you have also an LED microphone, big mirror which is great. You have handle even for the driver up here. And also there you have everywhere handles which is cool. And here you have the LED lights and you have some SOS button and yeah it’s quite quite cool. Now you can see better. Yeah. Now let’s go to the fun part. This huge screen. Ah in the back there you have another speaker. Uh the screen guys. And look one more time of the headup display. I tried to zoom in a little bit to help you. Maybe now you see it when these guys pass. Yes, you saw it. Yeah. Anyway, huge screen here. Love to see it. Very tiny uh B the the area also. You have shortcuts on the left side to go to home screen. This is the home screen. It looks really different, really unique. You have the media. You have the navigation. You have all kind of infos which you can set around here. And you can also customize from here and add whatever you want. You can add more pages like weather. Even in the weather, if you want to have the weather, you can switch and change wherever you want. And yeah, then you say ready and that’s it. Down here you have always on the screen the climatic system, right? You have also heated seats, heated steering wheel. You have the climatic system in the middle here. You can extend it and choose the position um of the vents. You have the options here. Extra option for climatic system. Nano X for extra filtration. And the car come also with this which is uh defrosting the windshield. This one doesn’t have everywhere. It has only up or and down if I’m not wrong. But it’s cool that it’s here. Uh what else? It has like yeah some extra safety settings. Uh and then yeah all other the rest is from the climatic system. What else I want to show you? So you have media here. You have navigation which is the latestest one from them which work really good really fast. Also it shows you the gas station and the charging station around you if I’m not wrong. Yeah. No. And you can search from here. Very very simple. So you can see here all the gas stations around you. And why didn’t show me? Yeah. And you can see it’s loading super fast. Guidance will start. And it show me also really quick the directions. This is media. This is telephone. It has wireless, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay. Uh this is the profile. This is the the car with all the settings. You can go also into the extra settings. I want to change the language. Maybe you understand better. Right? So from here we can go to English. So we can understand a little bit better. all these menu. So, we go back to the home profile. Here you can create your profile. You have the vehicle lights. You have the seat settings. You have the doors and locks around here and the key. So, you can see your key. Wireless key fob. I think you can connect it also with a phone. So, you can unlock it with your phone. Some security power settings. Tires. Vehicle alert. Bluetooth and device. drive performance. You have three different modes: normal, echo, sport, and custom. Every time you change it, look at the graphic on the screen on the cockpit. That looks so cool. Yay. I like it. Um, yeah. And then you have driver assistance systems with all the safety features here. You can activate the activate from here. Plenty of safety features. So, you don’t have it anymore on the cockpit. You have it here. Software upgrade. driver record, Wi-Fi, sound and media, display and camera, navigation, and the general settings here. So, very very simple to to go through everything. And here you have also the weather because the car is connected to the internet. Plus, it has this new icon where you can activate and deactivate the speed limit warning very fast by pressing that button. This is so useful. So, so useful these days. And this is the navigation, guys. The only thing that I didn’t show you on the car, I know it’s under the hood, but I will show you right now. Whoa, it’s so noisy outside. And not only that, but from here you can open also the tank uh door, which is here. And I want to show you under the hood and then we will end up this video. I hope was useful and you get some useful information. I really enjoy the car. I mean, the design I want to test drive it also. I can’t wait to drive it and then I will give you more feedback. Uh, and I will tell you exactly. But at first look, I love it. Air filter. You have also the the engine here. But basically, you know what? This is not the electric version. This is the full hybrid. Basically, the 2.5 L. Yeah. Not Yeah, exactly. This is the full hybrid. The 2.5 liter. So I was wrong when I was thinking is the electric version that why now it makes sense and yeah this is the engine this is the high voltage system there liquid cooling fuse box liquid cooling liquid wiper now I understand this is automatic by the way now it makes sense why you know when I get inside the car I saw in the navigation system that it’s searching for gas station I was thinking oh no this This is not the electric. And then those pedals are just for changing the gears manually, guys. Uh not for recuperation, by the way. And other than that, I I should know that from here. Yeah, I’m tired, man. I’m tired today. I’m tired. And you can go also in EV mode as long as the car have enough battery. But where is the graphic? It doesn’t have a graphic, I think. Vehicle. Where is the graphic with the consumption? Because I want to see that. It should be somewhere. Drive record. I don’t know. I don’t know where is it. Anyway. Anyway, guys. Yeah, basically the electric version is quite the same.
