3P per mile electric car tax!

3p per mile electric car tax sounds small, right? But for anyone living in rural areas, this is a slap in the face. And for any business covering lots of miles to keep the money flowing in, yeah, you’re going to get hit unfairly. On top of that, Britain has some of the most expensive electricity costs on the planet, and we have high insurance premiums on electric cars. It’s difficult for me to now recommend electric cars to friends, family, and those on the channel. And still no one is coming up with a solution for cheap charging at night for those that live in rented accommodation and those without driveways. The advantages electric cars bring to the discussion are being eliminated so fast that consumers are now holding on to cars longer than ever. And let’s not forget, there’s going to be people out there that simply avoid this tax by sticking mileage blockers on their cars. Let me know what you think.
