Honda WN 7 at EICMA 2025
Welcome to the Honda stand and Honda has surprised us with this. This is their first ever electric motorcycle. It’s called the WN7 and has a lot of specialtity about it. First and foremost, we spoke to Tanakasan yesterday and he told us that because they wanted a high performance motorcycle, something which was premium, something which was nice to look at, they went for a naked design and hence this is the form of the WN7. But apart from that, he’s added a lot of inputs which make us feel very good about this motorcycle. First and foremost, performance. It’s got a top speed of around 129 km/h and will do about 140 km on every charge. This also supports a CCS2 charger. That’s an excellent feature to have. So, quick charging and all those things are possible. But the battery pack is here. And if you look closely, you’ll see no chassis here because the battery pack is actually uh shrung onto the chassis and it’s the chest member. So overall, this bike is a very very unique proposition. A nice little seat here to enjoy your ride and Tanakasan said that handling was something which Honda has worked on really really seriously and this is going to be a motorcycle to watch out for in international markets. Now as far as India is concerned, I’m sorry to say that um there’s no confirmation of this motorcycle coming to India because of the exorbitant price which it demands in Europe alone.
