Why do I love driving an EV?
There is a lot to love about driving an EV. You can go everywhere you need to go all week long on a single charge. And charging at home doesn’t require anything extra. You can use a level one charger that comes with most cars and you’ll recoup 30 to 50 m a day by charging overnight. Being able to fully charge an EV overnight in your garage is what you’re after, then a level two setup is the way to go. I had a 240 volt outlet installed. You got a clothes dryer, you can have an EV charger. And then I got a smart cord. This connects via Wi-Fi to my phone app and to my car. Total for this setup, 250 for this, 150 for this. And I earned that back in just four months of EV driving. But wait, there’s more. There is so much more to love about EV driving. All the details are below.
I love saving time and money! Charging at home is a third of the price of gas and no extra stops on my drive. #AGirlsGuidetoCars partnered with #ElectricForAll to show you how I set up my home charging for less than it costs me to drive for a few months and how to charge with no extra setup. #Ad
