Help!!! How should i lower it???

got this lil mazda protege, ik its kind “granma-ish” but well it is mine, and i want to make it “mine”!

so i looking to lowering it about 2in (not locked in at 2in) i have been deciding between coilovers or springs and new struts as well as shocks, since am on a budget so i tend to lean more on springs, been think about coilovers as well but a decent one would cost like half the price of the car and im not willing to to invest much on this car (i will have to sell it within like 5 years)

so what yall say? should i go with springs or coilovers? what are some good budget brands (500$ for springs and other components) and how many inches should i drop as this will be my daily but still, i wanna drop it to a noticeable height

help me out here guys, preciate yalls advice!
