Hot News about Upcoming Electric Motorcycles: Debuts and eBike Rumors for 2026

[Music] The EV industry has experienced a series of setbacks and disappointments over the past years. However, if you are waiting for this technology to fail, then your celebrations might be premature. The industry keeps chugging along. So, today we’re looking at the newest electric motorcycle debuts and product announcements. Honda WN7. Do you remember the bold electric motorcycle concept Honda presented in Milan last year? Despite the harsh criticism of the bike’s limited performance specifications, it appears that the Japanese giant is actually ready to put this model on the streets and has already announced its name. Honda WN7, scheduled to be unveiled in its production form this year and heading to your local dealership in early 2026, the full-size WN7 retains the concept-like design. Underneath the futuristic bodywork is a mid-mounted electric motor with 18 kWs of output and a peak torque reading of 73 pound feet. The battery of undisclosed capacity will last approximately 80 m, thus restricting W and 7 to urban areas only. To offset the range constraints, the ebike gains the support of CCS2 chargers, enabling a 30inut recharge to 80%. DM Motors X01. Meet the new player in the EV game that originates from Denmark and wants to apply new ideas to the already popular technology. The brand’s first model is previewed by the X01 concept. A sleek e- motorcycle with a look developed by some of the best designers of the European continent. The sporty look aside, the newcomer employs some innovative solutions and highquality motorcycleycling components. The power comes from an axial flux motor hidden inside a rear hub, meaning no visible sprockets, no chain drive, and no gearbox to maintain. The X01 features a single side swing arm, a brake setup by Brimbo, LED lights, and a Showa inverted fork. The battery packs will be produced in house, however. DM Motors has not disclosed their capacity yet. In the case of the motor, a 35 kW output was announced Ultraviolet X47. Although it’s the first adventure oriented motorcycle by the brand, Ultraviolet execs don’t want to limit it to just gravel roads and dirt trails. As per their official statements, it will make a great commuter vehicle for both urban and rural parts of India. With a confident stance, three standard color schemes, and a high ground clearance of almost 8 in, the X47 is sure to find its target audience. The powertrain utilizes a 29.3 kW electric motor, enabling a 90 mph top speed. The installed 10.3 kWh battery pack will bring upwards of 200 m of autonomy. Besides being tough in multi-terrain environments, the bike is large on high-tech components, namely a duo of 5-in information displays, front and rear safety cameras with part assist, blind spot monitoring, and much more. Ducatti V21L. While skeptics are using every EV setback as a reason to completely discard the technology, more legacy brands are entering the zero emission business. This time it’s none other than Ducati. Seeing the Italian giant in the EV scene is a big boost for the industry. But we should not be over optimistic. At the latest IAA mobility exhibition in Munich, the company only announced a collaboration with Volkswagen and QuantumCape, the developer of solidstate batteries. The conceptual sports bike is powered by a cuttingedge battery with an 844Wh per liter density. Besides being able to store more than a regular lithium-ion battery, the unit supports fast charging from 10 to 80% in 12 minutes. Ola Diamond Head, India’s leading escooter manufacturer, is trying to boldly enter the world of electric motorcycles with a series of futuristic, even outlandish designs. Among them is the Diamond Head, a powerful urban motorcycle with a sporty character and an angular design akin to the Cybert truck. Scheduled for production in the far away 2027, the bike is yet to unveil its performance side. However, we are promised a quick acceleration to 60 mph, which will take just 2 seconds. In terms of look, we witness an ensemble of polished aluminum and lightweight materials like carbon fiber and magnesium. Such lightweight materials could offset the added weight of heavy batteries. Among already available specifications, we should mention an adaptive suspension, slim LED lights, 17-in alloy wheels, ADAS, traction control, an in-house developed battery tech, and other AI powered features. BMW CEO4. Regarded by many as a better alternative to a low displacement motorcycle because of its luxurious seating position and a premium technological package, the BMW CEO4 enters its second generation. For 2026, we greet three trim levels with unseen before color options, improved wind and weather protection, a larger windshield, and a richer list of upgrades, including heated grips, a quick charger, adaptive headlights, and much more. On the powertrain front, you’re getting a mid-mounted electric motor with permanent magnets and liquid cooling. Working in tandem with an 8.9 kWh battery, this unit produces 31 kW and 80 mi of range autonomy. The ample power translates to a 75 mph top speed and a linear acceleration to 32 mph in just 2.6 seconds. The standard package includes a 10.25 in TFT color screen with digital navigation, an automatic stability control, three riding modes, and a 2.3 kW charger. The optimal fast charger can operate at 6.9 kWang EVO. Although some media outlets have mistakenly called this the first ebike by Honda, this compact cafe racer still deserves your attention. Co-developed with Honda, this two-wheeler will first debut on the Asian market with two body color options, red contrasting stripes and a unique clear windshield that spans over the headlamp. The motor unit produces 8.2 2 kW of continuous power and is capable of quick bursts all the way to 16 kW, ensuring a swift acceleration to the 75 mph top speed. Underneath the bodywork, the 343lb bike hides three batteries. The 74 volt 28 A units spring upwards of 105 mi of autonomy. When depleted, each unit needs 2.5 hours to restore full charge. [Music] Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6. Royal Enfield used EICMA show floor to not only unveil their first highly anticipated electric motorcycle, but also a separate EV brand called the Flying Flea. Scheduled for a market debut in 2026, the Flying Fleece C6 will preserve Royal Infield’s retro spirit by using an exposed aluminum frame, rounded lights, a leather saddle, and a unique girder suspension setup, and offer all-terrain riding capabilities in a lightweight package. As of today, the brand hasn’t disclosed its main performance characteristics and motorcycleycling components besides a specially developed vehicle control unit, a battery protected by a magnesium enclosure, lean angle sensing, ABS, a cruise control system, a round touchscreen TFT display, and quick charger with a three pin plug. At the end of the show, the company execs teased the upcoming S6 model that looks like a lightweight electric scrambler.
