On X Trail Revival Project: Challis, Idaho
[♪ Acoustic music ♪] VO: It doesn’t matter who you are or what organization you’re with… …this is the one thing that can get people together, is nature. VO: Doesn’t matter if you’re a rock crawler, or you’re an overlander… …or you’re riding an e-bike, we all wanna ride the road system… VO: …we all wanna get to the places that we love, and you know, it takes all of us working together to make that happen. This area, historically, has not been… …accessed for the last couple of decades. VO: Some of these projects have taken ten years to vet through, and… VO: …a lot of this is being done by volunteers. I am so grateful for this trail revival project. VO: It gives that sense of ownership that I don’t think you understand without doing the work. VO: All the people that came out today and took part in the work…I mean, they crushed it, so…don’t be shy to go explore.
In Challis, Idaho, we proved that protecting the outdoors isn’t just for a select few — there’s something everyone can do. From riders to hikers, hunters to campers, people of all backgrounds benefit when we leave the trails better than we found them. 🌲
