I Surprised Him With A $5,000 E-Bike for Free!
It was pretty dialed. So, you like it? I really like it. It’s probably one of my favorites I’ve ridden of yours. Oh, perfect. Cuz it’s yours. Are you serious? I swear. This is the 79 bike Falcon Pro GT. One of the newest bikes on the market. But here’s the thing. I have two of these bikes and I can only ride one. So, today we are going to be giving away the 79 bike Falcon Pro GT to someone who I think deserves it. But also, there’s another twist. I don’t have two for just no random reason. There’s something wrong with this one right here. It might have been a defect. I’m not entirely sure. So, this is drive. Whoa. I’m getting an error. I don’t know what that means. Now, you see, I have no idea what is wrong with this bike. I went and contacted 79 Bike. They said, “Yeah, we’re just going to send you out an entire different bike.” But I also asked them to send me out parts to fix this bike cuz now I just have a broken bike sitting in my garage. So, that is exactly what they did. They sent over a controller and I think a new display and they were saying that that might be the actual issue with this. The bike is a really good bike and they got back to me really quick and they actually sent me an entire new bike within a couple days. Nothing on their end. I think it was just a defect with the bike that I got, which is unfortunate. But yeah, who am I going to give this bike to? You’re probably asking yourself. I’m going to be giving this bike to my good buddy Nathan. You guys have seen Nathan in the past 2 years of videos. He’s the one who does all the work on pretty much all my ebikes. He built the Suron X that all you guys have seen that was fully done. He puts on a lot of the modifications for a lot of these bikes and certain parts, all the bikes that I have. And when I get upgrades for them, if it’s too extensive and I don’t know how to do it, first person I hit up is literally Nathan. Ironically, I’m gonna have him fix this bike. We’re going to go out into his hills by his house, go ride it, have some fun. Wheelie, and then at the end of the ride, my plan is to just surprise him and be like, “You know what? Thanks for all your help, dude. You helped me a ton. This is your bike now.” Hopefully, he’ll be stoked. I don’t really know how he’s going to react. Who is Nathan? You’re probably asking yourself. Nathan is a friend that I’ve known since sixth grade. I’m 26 now. I don’t know how many years that is. How is that? I think 12 or 13 years is how long I’ve known Nathan. He has been wrenching on my stuff literally since the 110 days. I don’t even know if I even still have viewers from the 110 days, the KTM 150 days to my 350 and then now all the Suron stuff. Super talented. He’s very smart and very mechanical when it comes to building bikes. Uh so this is my plan. Okay. He thinks that he’s just fixing a bike that’s mine. He doesn’t know it’s going to be his. He should have no idea. I haven’t hinted anything or anything like that. I don’t even think I’ve told anyone that I’m giving him a bike. So, he’s been wanting a Suron for quite some time. He just has never pulled the trigger. These bikes are so expensive, guys. So, since I have two of the same bike, the one that I have is practically brand new as well. It has one ride on it from when you guys saw in my video when I rode it. I’m just going to go ahead and give him that bike. And then I brought my Ventus 1. And since, you know, he helps me put on all my parts and stuff, I’m going to give him my gut seat to put on the 79 bike. And I’m switching over to Thrillsekers. So, it’s perfect. You know, I give him a bike and then he’ll swap a seat cover for me. So, with that being said, on my way to Nathan’s again, and today we’re actually going to ride. All right, guys. We’re literally just having fun today. Okay, so I’ve never even been out here. There’s so much land over here. So, I’m actually like kind of excited and curious to see what we got. [Music] Dude, every time I don’t ride this bike and then I hop back on it, I forget how much I like enjoy like literally riding this bike. Yo, I could literally boost that thing. [Music] We follow this road down. It’s a huge dirt road that leads in between all these mountains, too. Oh, really? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, we’re going enduro. We’re going hard in Euro, boys. I I should have got one of these a long time ago. Like I was saying, I’m going to do a build on it. I’m trying to get all the parts together and ready so I could just go go at it for like a whole week and then maybe just finish it so I can make that an upload for you guys to see. But it’s sick. I want to build it like a hybrid. Okay. I want a little bit beachy versus also being able to take these bikes around. And if I have to stay with my kid and wife somewhere, then we could sleep in the van with some bikes. Like the ultimate hybrid camper slash I don’t even know van. But holy, we’re going to try to scale to the top of this mountain right here and see what we can find. Dude, it’s so crazy how fast. Look at this. We scale mountains so fast on these bikes. It’s actually insane. Dude, these bikes are so good. Okay, well this one, yes, I know that this thing is fully kitted head to toe. It better be good. But like every time I ride it, I’m just like, damn. I love this bike, dude. Oh, there’s jumps right there. There’s jumps right there. No way. Knew we’d find something, dude. It’s always nice riding on some new trails, too, that you’ve never been on. Like, literally neither of us have ever been back here before. So, we’re just exploring. Oh, those look sick. Okay, those actually kind of look a little gnarly. Look, it’s like a little trap down here. Oh yeah, we got a little double lip right here. Low line, high line. We knew it, dude. We go. There’s got to be jumps out here somewhere. Oh, slight OJ. That one seems like a a little sketchy, but Bro, that jump is sketchy, dude. It’s just so long and low. Heat. Heat. The Ventus 1 held up insanely well, per usual. And as it should, honestly, everything is done to this bike. How did that bike handle? Great. Actually, the suspension’s good. It It kept up. Do you So, you genuinely like this bike. You’re not just saying that? No. No. This bike’s generally really good. Like, this this video isn’t sponsored or whatever. So, like if you don’t like the bike, the suspension’s really good. The brakes are really good. The way it felt out there, it kind of just ate right through the rocks. It didn’t feel squirly at all.
