5 most reliable used Electric vehicles #automobile #usedcars #electricvehicle #ev #reliable

These are the five most reliable used electric vehicles that you could buy in the UK right now. Yesterday we did the most unreliable. Today the most reliable starting with the car in fifth place first of all which is the Volkswagen E up. Uh they made this from 2013 until 2023. So no longer make it. But if you want a slightly older electric vehicle, these always score really really highly for reliability uh in what car surveys. very few faults with regards to battery and electronics, which you want, of course, in a fully electric vehicle. Uh, and when things do go wrong, they are relatively inexpensive to repair, and the time off the road to get it repaired is relatively low as well. So, a good starting place for used electric vehicles. The car in fourth place is the Renault Man E Tech. They started making this in 2022. They still make it now. So, a much newer car than the Volkswagen we were just talking about, but similar to the Volkswagen, it scores really, really high in what car reliability surveys. Very few faults with the battery and electronics. Again, like I said with the Volkswagen, that is what you want when you’re looking at a fully electric car. Less battery issues. Uh, the car in third place is the BMW i4. Uh, they started making this in 2021. They still make it now. So, again, a newer electric vehicle. It only comes just one place below the car that we put in second on all reliability surveys that I could find online. Warranty claims are very low on this car when it is off the road. Again, it’s not off the road for a very long time, which is of course what you want. It is beaten by two more cars, though. Uh starting with the car in second place, first of all, which is the Nissan Leaf, the current version. They started making it in 2019. They still make it now. I’ve only driven the previous version which I wasn’t too keen on. But then again, this isn’t about how well they drive. This is due with reliability and it scores very very highly in all surveys. Um very dependable drivetrain. Uh robust in terms of build quality and apparently very low claim rate uh with warranty solutions. Um they show a claim rate of just 3% across the board uh on all uh Nissan Leafs. So again, not a lot of warranty claims for this car. It is however beaten by one vehicle and that car is the Mini Electric. We are talking about the version made from 2020 until 2024. You can see it on screen just here. Um it scores at the top for reliability ratings on what car? A reliability rating of 98.4% in fact. So very very good. And when it does go wrong, if it goes wrong, the faults are always minor. At 12vt battery, for example, is one of the issues, but very rarely as I say. So, you cannot go wrong with one of these cars or any of the cars on this list to be honest. So, they are your five most reliable used EVs you could buy in the UK right
