2025 Toyota Sienna vs 2025 Honda Odyssey | Toyota

The 2025 Toyota Sienna versus the 2025 Honda Odyssey. Which modern van comes out on top as the best family vehicle? Let’s find out. Sienna’s standard hybrid
powertrain gives it up to a 14-mile-per-gallon
combined advantage over Odyssey in EPA-estimated
fuel economy ratings. Sienna’s available all-wheel
drive system delivers all-weather capability unmatched by the front-wheel drive-only Odyssey. And Sienna offers an available
sport-tuned suspension not offered on Odyssey. Features like available four-zone
automatic climate control, heated second-row captain’s chairs, and ottomans give Sienna a
comfort edge over Odyssey. Now let’s put Sienna and
Odyssey side by side. For 2025, the Toyota
Sienna offers six grades: LE, XLE, XSE, Woodland
Edition, Limited, and Platinum. Sienna has a standard hybrid powertrain, and offers drivers
available all-wheel drive. Odyssey only has four grades, and there’s no hybrid
powertrain on any of them. Looking for the added driving
confidence of all-wheel drive? You won’t find that on
any Odyssey grade either. The 2025 Sienna elevates style with its available 20-inch wheels. Odyssey’s available wheels
only reach up to 19 inches. Both minivans have standard
power sliding rear doors, but Sienna elevates the convenience with hands-free operation
on XLE grades and higher, a plus that Odyssey leaves out altogether. Finally, Sienna and Odyssey
offer the convenience of an available hands-free power liftgate. Sienna’s well-appointed cabin features standard three-zone climate
control on the LE grade or a four-zone system
on the XLE grade and up. Odyssey also offers standard three-zone automatic climate control, but no four-zone option. Both vehicles up the comfort factor with an available heated steering wheel, and available heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats. Sienna has available heated
second-row captain’s chairs with available ottomans and
super-long slide capability, while Odyssey counters with its Magic Slide second-row seats. But Odyssey falls short of offering second-row heating functions or ottomans. Sienna is designed to
keep information in sight with an available 12.3-inch
digital gauge cluster and an available head-up display, neither of these are available on Odyssey. Both vehicles do have a standard Qi-compatible wireless charger. Looking for some serious convenience? Sienna has you covered with its available Vacuum and FridgeBox. With the vehicle powered on, the built-in vacuum is designed
to make cleaning up easier, while the FridgeBox is designed
to keep treats chilled. Two more features not found on Odyssey. Finally, Sienna’s available 1500-Watt AC power inverter expands
the spectrum of devices it can power relative to
Odyssey’s 150-Watt inverter. High-demand laptops and gaming consoles are no problem for Sienna’s two outlets. The 2025 Sienna comes packed with tech, thanks to the Toyota
Audio Multimedia platform, which features an eight-inch
touchscreen on the LE grade or a 12.3-inch touchscreen
on the XLE grade and up. Odyssey only offers a
nine-inch touchscreen across its lineup. This interface includes standard wireless compatibility
for Apple CarPlay, which connects drivers to
the apps on their iPhone, including maps, messages,
podcasts, and music subscriptions. In addition, wireless
Android Auto compatibility makes it easy to stay
connected to Android devices and access various apps
and services from Google including YouTube Music and Google Maps. Odyssey also includes standard
wireless compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Sienna comes standard with a
three-month SiriusXM trial, which includes over 165
channels available in-cabin, and even more on the SiriusXM app, making it easier than ever to
enjoy not just ad-free music, but also sports, comedy, and more. Odyssey also comes with a
SiriusXM trial as standard. On select grades, Sienna includes trials for Toyota’s line of Connected Services, including Safety Connect, Service Connect, Remote Connect, Wi-Fi
Connect, and Drive Connect. Odyssey has available trials
for HondaLink services. Sienna plays tunes in high fidelity with its available 12-speaker
JBL Premium Audio System. Odyssey also has an available
Premium Audio System, but it falls a little short
with only 11 speakers. Peace of mind comes standard on Sienna with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. This high-tech safety suite includes Pre-Collision System with
Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Automatic High Beams, Full-Speed Range Dynamic
Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and Road Sign Assist. Honda Sensing offers
similar features to TSS 2.0. Sienna also offers
standard Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, available Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking, and an available Panoramic View Monitor. Odyssey has a standard Blind Spot Information System
and Cross-Traffic Monitor and available front and
rear parking sensors. However, it has no equivalent to Sienna’s Panoramic View
Monitor available on any grade. Sienna has a standard 2.5L hybrid system with 245 net combined horsepower, and every grade is available with Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive. Odyssey does not have a hybrid powertrain or all-wheel drive at all. Sienna’s standard hybrid powertrain has up to an EPA-estimated 36 miles
per gallon combined rating, while Odyssey falls behind with an EPA-estimated 22 miles
per gallon combined rating. Plus, Sienna’s XSE grade offers a standard sport-tuned suspension designed
to keep the drive engaging with revised spring rates,
stabilizer bars, and damping, something that is not found on Odyssey. Every Sienna grade matches Odyssey’s 3,500-pound tow rating, and has much higher EPA-estimated
fuel economy ratings. Sienna brings strong value
since it comes with ToyotaCare, which includes two years or 25,000 miles of scheduled maintenance,
whichever comes first, and two years unlimited mileage
24-hour roadside assistance. Odyssey includes Honda
Service Pass for one year or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, and three years or 36,000
miles of roadside assistance, whichever comes first. Sienna and Odyssey come with a three-year or 36,000-mile limited
warranty, whichever comes first, and a five-year or 60,000-mile
powertrain warranty, whichever comes first. And because Sienna is a hybrid, it includes a hybrid system warranty that covers select
components for eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, and a 10-year or 150,000-mile
hybrid battery warranty, whichever comes first. Sienna definitely impresses. From a standard hybrid powertrain and available all-wheel drive, to smart extras like the
available Vacuum and FridgeBox to accompany epic trips, the 2025 Toyota Sienna puts busy families in the driver’s seat. Discover Sienna today at Toyota.com.
