Dubai leads in public charging infrastructure with 1,270+ stations, and DEWA recently partnered with ENOC to expand fast-charging networks to meet growing demand. Shared and semi-private chargers are also popular, with 33% of UAE EV owners using them.
In 2024, the UAE sold nearly 24,000 battery and plug-in hybrid vehicles, leading the GCC, while satisfaction with charging infrastructure reached 95%, outperforming many mature markets worldwide.
