Volkswagen ID.7 Multifunction Steering Wheel
The multi-function steering wheel lets you access many important functions of your ID directly. On the left side of the steering wheel, you can control everything to do with your assist systems. Speed limiter, adaptive cruise control, ACC, and travel assist. Press mode to select the desired assist system. Press set to store the current speed. Use the plus and minus buttons to adjust the speed. Press gently for 1 km perph increments and harder for 10 km perph increments. If the current speed limit changes, your ID will follow and adapt the speed automatically. With cancel, you can stop speed control and resume will return to the last stored speed or to the speed limit now detected. Your ID can maintain the distance to the vehicle ahead. Use the button in the middle to set the desired distance. [Music] On the right side of the steering wheel, you can control the displays of the AR head-up display. With the direction buttons, you can scroll through the different displays. Briefly, press view to only display the current speed and traffic signs. Press and hold the view button to switch augmented reality displays on or off. For example, for navigation instructions, use okay to accept calls or hide messages. Cold hands? Activate the steering wheel heating at the touch of a button. Just like voice control, you can also easily control media and the radio via the steering wheel. Browse songs or radio stations on the right and adjust the volume on the left. As you can see, with the multi-function steering wheel in your ID, many important functions are just a touch of a button away for more comfort and safety on the road.
