Is this the BEST BUDGET ELECTRIC DIRTBIKE? | Mototec 60v 2000w Pro Review and Ride
got a new bike. I welcome you [Music] to the Lord awaited. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Hey guys, welcome back to another video. Today we are reviewing the Moto Tech 60 volt 200 watt throw. This is a more budget friendly electric dirt bike. I’ll be testing out on both streets and my backyard track and letting you know what you need to know about it, what to look out for, and why this bike could be a great option for you. This bike features a 200 W brushless DC motor with the 3000 watt peak pair with a 60V 15.6 6 amp hour battery giving you about 10 to 18 miles of range with a top speed of 40 claimed miles per hour, but I was able to hit 41.6 mph. It has a maximum rider weight of 150 lbs and features adjustable speed knob which can allow you to limit the bike from anywhere to 7 and 1/2 mph all the way to unlimited. It also is splash resistant, so you should have no trouble taking this on slightly wet trails. Based off just the specs, you can conclude that this is a great mid-tier to budget electric dirt bike for the power, but it does have some limitations in range and in rider capacity. Now, moving on to how this bike actually feels. The geometry is very similar to like a slightly bigger CRF 110, and overall it feels really comfortable. It has a little less torque than competitors like the EBOX 2.0, but it makes up for it by having a higher top speed. While I haven’t fully tested the range, I did get about 10 mi on a single charge and only go through half the battery. So, with this, I can conclude that you’ll probably get around 15 to 18 miles per charge, which takes about 5 to 6 hours to go from zero to full. It handles both streets and trails well, but I did notice while on flat, it does start to bump and almost bounce when you’re going pretty quick. And the front shock wears out really quick. and by the end of the video, it kind of sagged a little bit. So, that might be something you want to look out for. Another thing to look out for is the screws that hold down the handlebars seem to be pretty weak and often come loose, leading to your handlebars moving back or forth. Some other complaints I had about the bike is the stock handlebars. As you can see, I upgraded to the Electro and Co. RTR light bars, which you can buy for cheaper using code ACE bikes 5 because the stock bars were really small and had a strange sweep to them. Another thing I didn’t like is that the chain seems to come loose pretty easy, so I was needing to tighten it a lot. Some pros for the bike are that it has a really good uh top speed for this price range. It seems to be built fairly well and handles dirt and streets both really well. To wrap it up, the Moto Tech 60 Volt can be a great bike for you if you’re a lighter rider who’s interested in some lighter trails and small jumps. It also handles great on streets, but does start to feel a little strange when you’re going at the top speed. If you’re looking to go on really long, rough rides, this bike might not be the bike for you. But for cruising around, it’s almost perfect. All in all, I think this is a good bike, especially for beginners, but I haven’t owned it very long. So, if you have any experiences, make sure to share them in the comments below.
