It comes in a variety of different trims, including Life, Match, Rine, Edition 50, the GTI, and the Black Edition that we have here today. One of the standout features on this Black Edition trim is this striking light strip across the front and also the matrix LED headlights that come standard on the Black Edition. You’ll also find the same sleek lighting setup in the Edition 50 and the GTI. The lower bumper across all Polo trims has a clean, sculpted look that complements the car’s compact yet assertive stance. The Rline and Black Edition trims have a gloss black grill that ties perfectly in the car’s dark, sporty aesthetic, setting them apart from the rest of the Polo lineup. From the side, wheel sizes range from 15 in on the Life to 18 in on the GTI. This black edition features 17in York Black diamond turned alloys, plus a black roof, black mirror caps, and the rear privacy glass as part of the black styling pack. Step inside and immediately the Polo already feels more premium than you’d expect from a car this size. Right in the driver’s ey line, the fully digital cockpit gives you a crisp customizable display for your speed, navigation, and media. In this black edition and on trims like the Aline Edition 50 and GTI, you’ll also get the larger 10-in dash display screen as standard. Life and match models feature a slightly smaller 8- in version with the option to upgrade. Do radio, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, air conditioning, wireless charger for your mobile phone, ambient lighting, and a leather multi-function steering wheel. All included for no extra cost. In terms of seats and comfort, the Black Edition does not disappoint. It comes with heated front seats as standard, which you can get as option in the rest of the lineup. Rear space is generous for a small car, too. And the 351 liter boot expands with the seats down. The Polo may be compact, but it’s big on safety. Standard features include front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and front assist with emergency braking. The Polo comes in two engines, the 5-speed manual, and a 7-speed DSG, depending on which trim you buy. Power ranges from an entry-level 80 horsepower to 207 horsepower, delivering naugh to 62 in as little as 6.5 seconds. The Black Edition trim offers just one powertrain, the 115 horsepower 7speed DSG.
